I just got the worst surprise after getting to the end of my meal from here today. I got the Jamaican me crazy and there was a... beetle in my food. Bruh this was my favorite place to eat! I ordered the Soul Green Salad & OMG it was delicious!! The vegan chicken & vegan cheese could have fooled you! I also tried the... fluffy cornbread & garlic bread & I'm just so amazed at how they both are tasty! Then to top it off, I put in my order as theywere closing & the owner/manager (I'm not sure who she was) waited on me until I arrived. That was so sweet! I'm definitelygoing back to try EVERYTHING on the menu because if the salad was great I can only imagine that everything else ismouthwatering. I?m writing this while laying down, completely stuffed and amazed by the incredible food I just had from this establishment. The... portions are huge so don?t be like me and over order. Or do and be excited you have leftovers. The price point is great, theflavor is outstanding. Can?t wait to visit Atlanta again to eat here again! Visiting here from VA and we do not gave many places like this. I am so impressed. The food was slap yo knee good!. I mean how... they do it. The Mac and cheese was the best I ever had for vegan.. it was a jump away from being a bit too salty but I still ateit all. I eat mostly vegan for GI issues and this place was really good!! Even my dad who isn?t vegan loves the avocado salad. I got the... Mac and cheese with sweet potato fries and they were really good! Mac and cheese had a different taste than I?m use to withvegan kinds, but it was pretty good and the sweet potato fries were amazing! I got strawberry cheese cake too and that was thebest vegan cheese cake I?ve ever had, most I?ve had were hard and lacked lots of flavor but the one here had real strawberriesinside which was so good. For starters this restaurant is inside of a food kitchen for pick up only for those of you that are like me and want a dine in... experience as described on the google listing. They have a picnic styled table at front where people wait but it?s far from adine in expectation. Now for the food. Plant based enthusiast and foodie here and I unfortunately have to say what I had ontoday was just ok. Half of the menu options weren?t available. I had 3 items Collard Greens, Mac and cheese, and chicken wingsand fries total was $33 and change. Not worth it in my honest opinion. The wings were just soft soy nuggets, the fries wereplentiful and decent, the Mac and cheese just lacked recipe?just noodles and like a vegan cheese packet. The greens were okagain no recipe but their hot sauce that came with the wings made it taste better or they weren?t out the can. Small portions onthe sides for $7/per side. Super flavorful, delicious vegan soul food! We especially loved the elote corn salad, mac and cheese, cornbread and greens.... Yum!!! You also get huge portions which makes it very affordable. Read more
The portion sizes are great! I ordered the chili cheese fries and there was so much food. The chili was bland, so I don't... recommend getting it. The wings are good for vegan wings. No faux bone, which gives them chicken nugget vibes. The flavor wasgood for the buffalo wings. Everything just needs a little more salt and seasoning. I felt like I was eating beans on fries whenI got my chili. 2 stars for the portion size and the wings my partner ordered. You can't dine-in. Read more
