Petit Chou oozes with cozy brunch vibes. From the outside, I admit I wasn't expecting much since it sits so nondescriptly on a... quiet street. But once my friends and I stepped inside, it was beautifully quiet and intimate. The main dining area has a numberof tables and counters, while the bar area in the center takes up most of the space. At my friend's recommendation, all of usordered the golden turmeric latte (nondairy milks available). I don't think I would've ever ordered it for myself on the menu, but there were ZERO regrets about getting it. It came perfectly sweetened with a light foam cap and a dusting of turmeric powderthat compelled me to announce - "It's good and good for me!" (FYI - turmeric is a natural anti-inflammatory ingredient). Forbreakfast, I ordered the American breakfast platter to get a little bit of everything. Like a combo plate, it comes with achoice of grits or potatoes, eggs, and a choice of protein. There was a lot to love here - - Petit Chou is very vegetarianfriendly (veggie sausages available for the American breakfast). - I ordered my eggs scrambled, and I'm not sure what the chefdoes to them but the texture was almost cloud-like. - Both carb options are stupendous. I ordered the potatoes but speciallyrequested some a la carte grits on the side (because why choose when you can have both?). I would've loved for the potatoes tobe a little crispier, but they were seasoned well. The fact that I ate until I scraped the bottom of the cup of grits probablysays something about how well those are done here. Most of all, I appreciated that there was nothing particularly out there orunusual on my plate, but every single item on my place was executed to a tee. The brunch menu is simple - a mere page long - butI have no doubt they're all tasty. Finally, the servers here are amazing. When our server, Danny, noticed my friends and I weremeeting for the first time in awhile, he gave us plenty of time and space to gab while looking ov Read more

I usually come here for breakfast and it's great. However, I came for dinner and it was absolutely wonderful! Everything that... we ate tasted fresh- from the potato leek soup that we had to eat to the very last spoonful, to the vegetable paella that hadfresh vegetables and artichokes and not too much rice. I asked for my salmon to be cooked and it was absolutely perfect; crispybut not overdone. The salad caprese; heirloom tomatoes and fresh basil pesto dressing and fresh mozzarella... We will be back! We went for brunch after a good dinner experience few months back, but the brunch experience convinced us to not go back for a... long while. We waited almost 45 minutes for our food, which was room temp, but we were hungry so still ate. I left still prettyhungry, unfortunately. The avocado toast I got for 12.50 felt like an insult. It was much more cream cheese than avocado, so Ifelt like I was eating a single piece of toast with fancy cream cheese on it plus arugula and tiny pieces of watermelon radish. The cream cheese tasted good. Our server was also pretty absent not in a good mood, unfortunately. I think she may haveforgotten to put our order in. We left feeling pretty bummed. 2.5 stars overall Read more

We went at 7 on a Thursday. We sat at the bar and got a bottle of wine and then ordered. It was pretty quick and the food was... amazing. We had lamb lollipops and a cheese plate for appetizers then we had the duck and Cajun chicken. Everything wasincredible! 10/10 would recommend. Read more

They were pretty busy, even on a Monday morning, so it took a while to get our food. When it did come it was amazing. They have... some unique breakfast options like croque madames and Belgian waffles, and good gluten-free options like grits bowls. Theirflavored lemonade is also delicious. Read more

We stopped in here for Saturday brunch. Sat at the bar, good selection of drinks, and they make an Irish Cream for your coffee,... which was excellent! My wife got one of their cocktail drinks and enjoyed it. I had the eggs benedict, which has arugula andtomatoes on the side, really tasty. The staff were friendly, and it was fairly crowded. They also have a dinner menu so we'llhave to check that out sometime. Read more
