I finally found the perfect time to go on a Sunday. You must get there before 11:30 AM. In order to not be in a long line. I... ordered catfish,1 slice of meatloaf, cabbage, and Black Eyed Peas, And of course peach cobbler. Very pricey, But the catfishand Black Eyed Peas were really good. I wasn't too crazy about the cabbage it was a little sour for my taste. The peach cobblerwas awesome.! All in all not bad. I suggest you try for yourself So food is different for everybody taste buds. Read more

Went to get dinner since I kept hearing about it on the radio. No Mac and cheese, ordered oxtail (usual price, about $28), meat... loaf with sides. Best thing was the collards. Ordered 1 whole chicken wing, it was $3.99 for one wing! We spent $65 for twomeals, and one wing. Meatloaf was terrible, had the texture of what dog food looks like, don't what type of meat it was, but itdidn't taste like ground beef/turkey. Food was ok, but nothing to pass the word about. Place very friendly and fast. Prices are way high. And no indoor dinning. We drove all the way from Cave Spring. With to... toddlers a place to sit in air-conditioning and eat is vital. Food was good but I will say the cobbler was legit. And chickenwas better than the ribs. Read more

Had them for the first time today. Delivery. I ordered two meals, sometimes I binge order I?ve been wanting to try them. They... came up when I searched ?dressing.? I love dressing. I was a little disappointed because it was more like stuffing. However, everything else was great. I was pleased otherwise. The collard greens were cut but seasoned and cooked well. The green beansand potatoes were great as well. I love southern greens and green beans. The Turkey wings were tender with rice and gravy. Goodgravy. The wings I knew would not arrive crispy because I ordered delivery BUT they were great. They were seasoned well andthat?s what I was hoping. I?ll have to go in person one day to get them fresh out the grease. Of course I ordered peach cobbler,it?s Peach Cobbler Cafe. I was surprised and pleased. The cobbler was great. The crust was plentiful and distributed nicely. Thepeaches were not overcooked or too plentiful. I?ll definitely order again. Read more

My first time here. The line moves efficiently. I appear to be the only non-Black person here (smile) so hoping it's authentic.... The fried catfish is made to order, so it's hot rather than sitting on a warmer. There's not really a dine-in option here. Thereare a few tables right outside the restaurant in which you can sit at. The staff is friendly. They play Motown music loud, butgood vibe for the place. They have everything you would expect a soul food restaurant to have including collard greens, redvelvet cake, mac and cheese, fruit punch and lemonade. Of course they have plenty of peach cobbler in which the place is namedafter. I'm not a dessert guy so I can't tell you anything about. A bit pricey for soul food to go (my meal is a tad over $20),but hey, it's in Buckhead. So the verdict on the food is... Some of the best mac and cheese I've had in Atlanta so far. Thecollard greens were good but not the best I've had. On the positive, the collard green was not overly salty, but it may haveadded sugar and it lacked the pork or turkey bits I'm used to in home cooking. The catfish was a generous helping but it was notcrispy. They fry it to order and then put it in a plastic meal container. So the heat creates condensation that makes it nearlysoggy. I think they could have helped it by letting it sit for a minute before putting it into a closed plastic container.Overall, good food and friendly people. I would come back. Giving it four stars, although I could have went three stars.Feeling generous today. Read more

Deeelicious!! I was so excited to try the food, I didn?t get any pics! This place is AMAZING! Soul food at its finest! Ordered a... veggie plate & a smothered Turkey wings! When I say mouth watering, it was mouth watering for real! Mac and cheese was great, yams, green beans all cooked to perfection! Turkey was falling off the bone and smothered on down! Service was as fast as theycould be on a busy Sat & very courteous! Looks like they?re expanding and getting the location next door so hopefully that willhelp with the indoor traffic flow! Last but not least their name is peach cobbler for a reason! The peach cobbler was absolutelyamazing! I needed more! Don?t wait go try this one for yourself you won?t be disappointed! Read more

I flew in from Miami and was staying in Atlanta and I wanted some soul food. I found them on Google and decided to give them a... try. I ordered 1 smothered Turkey wing meal that included rice and 2 sides so I got the mac and cheese with collard greens. TheTurkey wings was deliciously tender and very well seasoned and the collard greens was good as well but the mac and cheese waskinda soupy and very greasy I can expect some grease because of the cheese but maybe they over did the butter but I dounderstand everyone does mac and cheese differently and everyone likes to eat there mac and cheese different ways so it wasn't abig deal. My meal also came with cornbread it was pretty good but it would have been better warmed. I figured since its calledpeach cobbler cafe I should try the peach cobbler. The peach cobbler was good. Overall I spent $30 for my meal. Its not arestaurant therefore there is no seating inside, its the soup kitchen setup the food is already cook you just let them know whatyou want. Overall the service was good the hostess (the guy that was taking the order in the line)was funny and the service wasfast. Read more
