Reviews for One Flew South in Atlanta, GA

For the sushi, this place charges the upscale price without the upscale food. The dragon roll is just a basic eel roll so why... it?s in the ?art of sushi? section is beyond me. I can get this for $8 am any hole in the wall sushi place at home and it tastesabout the same. The hand roll was interestingly shaped and was inoffensive behind the price. Great and affordable airport sushiis possible, but not here. Read more

Every time I go through Atlanta if my layover is longer than an hour I will find my way to One Flew South. The first time I went... here was probably five years ago, and I've been to every restaurant in this airport and will say this is my favorite. It's oneof the few airport restaurants that actually competes in quality to a normal restaurant. It's not just the best in a badsituation it actually is good! I sadly haven't written a review since now, but my server was wonderful. I sadly don't rememberhis name, but I've never had a server at One Flew South. They have a fantastic little sushi bar and a continuously changingstandard menu. Over my many trips I've had different things but this time I had some delicious deviled eggs, definitely wellworth it. The restaurant also has well as a great selection of wines. I had a fantastic bottle of Austin Hope CabernetSauvignon. My house red, and one of my favorite wines. Read more

Rating: 4.5 starts rounded up to 5. For an airport eatery/restaurant this is really good. Nice ambiance for an airport... restaurant. Overall, I?d say the quality of the food is quite good but this place is quite pricy even taking the high qualityinto account. In particular, the sushi and sashimi quality was exceptionally good. The portions were small. The prices arequite high too (in this case it was probably justified). The other dishes were just about fine. Ordered one drink, which waspretty decent ? not great, but not bad either. The service was good and prompt. They were not busy at the time. Difficult tosay whether it would be as good when they?re busy. Read more

Extremely happy with this ?airport food?. Cauliflower soup and Poke Tacos were great apps. The burger and the dirty south... sandwich were both excellent. Read more

I got the Asian Noodle salad and I can?t recommend it enough. Please take it with chicken. The seasoning they put on the chicken... makes it a perfect marriage of flavours. You will enjoy it and also feel great at the end. A light salad with enough proteins.Super friendly staff. It is so rare to have a good meal at an airport. I will stop every time I go to this airport. Read more

A meal Worth extending your layover for! One Flew South blew me away. I can't believe you can get food this good at the airport.... The curried cauliflower soup with crispy chickpeas was layered with flavor. The salmon was perfectly cooked and well seasoned, and the bourbon cranberry roasted potatoes provided a delightful sweet and savory balance. 10/10 definitely recommend if you'rein the Atlanta airport! If you have time in your layover, One Flew South is a great stop for some luxurious food. Sushi is our favorite but hard to get... during the pandemic depending on the supply chain. The rest of the menu items are excellent though! Asian salad is cold andrefreshing and the poke tacos are super flavorful. Read more

Eating here was a fantastic experience during a long holiday layover. The food tasted as exquisite as it was arranged, and the... seared salmon was easily as good as I can get in the Pacific Northwest. One Flew South is an oasis in the bustle of ATL, andI'll extend future layovers so I can sample more of what they offer. Read more
