I had the open faced salmon sandwich (salmon toast). It was pretty good and reasonably priced. The staff was extremely... friendly! My only gripe is the speed of service. There was one person taking orders and making the coffee. Needless to say,she was working hard this morning. Hiring another person might be a good idea. Read more
A little pricey, but very good, carefully prepared foods. The open-face sandwiches (really it's just fancy toast) are... legitimately good. For about $15 you can pick up a moderately satisfying meal. I usually get an open face sandwich and a cup ofsoup. The space is very modern yet cozy, and the staff is patient and ready to explain or elaborate on anything. This was my first visit in an attempt to stay out of the rain... The food was decent, although I didn't care much for the tomato... soup. Given the small portions, the price is very high. (I miss the old cafe where I could get a simple egg and cheesesandwich on a bagel for $3.) The staff also seemed bored, given the lack of business, and weren't very professional or polite.
