BEWARE Chauncey's Kitchen, they have no contact information and the Oak Street Attendant said... he couldn't figure out how to cancel my order" when it never came up. Oak Street doesn't have an email or phone number ether!Only purchase through reputable delivery ppl like UberEats or Door dash. This is a challenging review to post primarily because I want to give them a lower rating based on my service experience... BUT... to be honest some of my experience is impacted by the my lack of understanding what type of facility this is. I decided to gotry Oak Street Eats after seeing a tiktok, where a young lady is raving about coming here almost everyday for food. At the timeshe did eat her food in the car, but at no time did she imply that there was not any accommodations to dine in. So I was underthe impression that is was situated like a food court - it is not. This is a kitchen co-op, that happens to have a largevariety of providers that appear to serve really good food. With that being said you should place your order online beforehand.Trust me you will not get to see the different shops and what other diners are eating to help you make your decision. One ofthe pros is that they have some vendors that are open late, I believe they colse a 3pm. We arrived at 11:15 and they were stillbusy when I left at 12:45... Yes, this timing is accurate it took an 1hr and 30min to get take out food! Now to be honest itprobably took us 15min to figure out what was going on and place our orders, but the rest of that time was waiting for food.After waiting about 40min we attempted to see if someone could check on the food, but no one was at the window. When I went backto the window at 12:35 they sent me away saying my food wasn't ready, a few minutes later they were looking for me because thefood was somehow hidden where they didn't see it. So I had been waiting for heck knows how long when we could have beengone. Fortunately, Chauncey's Kitchen food was worth the wait or they would be getting a 2??. Read more
Stopped here because I didn't want to waste my lunch driving all the way to stone mountain..... Didn't realize they had more... that 3 restaurant pick up spots here. Grabbed me a Philly cheese steak from WEEYUMS ... SMH I was trying to save half thatsandwich for later and couldn't. The only place so far that I enjoy the lemon pepper WETT wings. I would never come back in this place. First of all I saw 2 cockroaches crawling around that place. It takes 2 hours to get... our food. I was not able to eat the fish that I ordered because it is super salty. It is too expensive fir 2 pieces of smallfish for about $24. Fries not fresh. My daughter ordered chicken nuggets and cheese fries. They gave her fries without thecheese. When we told them that it was a wrong order, they just gave us cheese in a small container. My daughter was no pleasedwith the chicken nuggets either. The wings are decent but I can get something better from another store half the price. Iwould not come back. Read more
This food is burnt I got salmon shrimp and crab cakes. Soon as I opened the tray all you smell is burned food. They knew this... food was burnt. Can?t even taste the salmon or shrimp. I looked for a phone number to spoke with someone. I want my money back. Read more
I gave this place a good review in the past, I was wrong. This time I ordered chicken tacos from the taco spot with lettuce and... green sauce and got(I don't even know what kind of meat this is but clearly not what I ordered.. they have no contact number. This is so frustrating Read more
Just got Tacos from Mike's Tacos and there are 5 of us that ate them that give them a solid thumbs down. There is NO seasoning.... I don't think they even used salt. They used plain chicken, Steakum style shaved steak and low quality cheese. Their street cornis literally just canned corn that they put in a cup with NO seasoning. Oh and we got the variety pack that is supposed to havechorizo and we did not get any chorizo tacos. Hands down the worst Tacos we have ever had. Do not buy! Read more
This was my first time ordering from Oak Street Eats & I REALLY wanted a good salad so I ordered the grilled chicken salad from... Build Ur Own Salad. This salad is everything & was only $12. I had to split it up, it was so big. This definitely made my day &I will be back. Read more
