Reviews for Nuevo Laredo Cantina in Atlanta, GA
Absolutely delicious- some of the best Mexican food I?ve had in Atlanta. There are tons of options for food. The lobster tacos... are great but my favorite was the brisket barbacoa. The margaritas are also fantastic. Read more
This was my first visit and I enjoy myself. This restaurant is very popular so plan to wait for a table. They allow you to order... drinks and sit on the porch while to you so that's helpful. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas & I had the Chicken tamales andthey were delicious. I took away 1 star because our server started out great and then disappeared towards the end. We had toflag down a busboy for togo boxes. When the server finally came, we asked for separate checks (there were 2 of us) and hebrought 1 check. Read more
In a word: Average. The food at this Mexican restaurant was ok but not great. The margaritas were good, the chips were ok and... the salsa was average. There was the usual menu of tacos, enchiladas with green or red sauce. I thought you get a lot of foodfor your money so be prepared to take home a doggie bag. The inside is very small and has limited seating so there can be await, although there is a small bar area where you can sit and eat your meal. Read more
Great food! Great service! We had a party of 7 at 7:00 pm on a Sunday night. It was packed! They said it would be a 30 minute... wait for a table, but it ended up only being 10! Here?s what I had: - Large Chile con Queso ($8.25): We got two large ones andit was a lot! We could?ve done with one large and one small at most. It was soo good. The chips were crispy and fresh. We wentthrough an embarrassing number of baskets of chips. - Chicken Mole Quesadilla ($19): Very good! Loved the flavor. I split thisand the Steak Quesadilla with someone; splitting is the way to go! - Steak Quesadilla ($13.50): Very good! - Santa Fe Chicken($18.95): Delicious! We also got a pitcher of the House Margarita ($32) and it was one of the best margaritas I?ve had. Evenpeople in our group who usually don?t like margaritas liked this one. Alejandra (Alex) was our waitress and she was awesome!Everyone else who delivered our food, refilled our waters - and more importantly, our chips - was great too! Everything wasgood. It?s a tad on the expensive side, but it?s worth it! Read more

This place is awesome, the service, food, and selection of cocktails are all outstanding! The restaurant is clean and inviting,... and the entire staff was friendly and helpful. And as an added bonus, there?s plenty of free parking? I had delicious organicmargaritas with freshly squeezed lime juice, and I told our server I was very hungry, and not a vegetarian, and asked her tosurprise me and choose my entrée for me. I was NOT disappointed!!! I was served the best combination chicken, shrimp, and steakfajitas I can remember having? Everything was fresh and piping hot. Even though I was hungry, there was still enough food leftover, to make lunch the next day. I would highly recommend Nuevo Laredo Cantina to anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, ina casual dining environment, with an impressive list of tequilas! Read more
Great local favorite for Mexican food. I?m not an expert on authentic food, but I can attest that the food was hot, tasty and... plentiful. Cody dining areas and a small bar. Staff was friendly and attentive. Outdoor patio for the warmer days. Parkingacross the street is plentiful. Masks required at this time. Come early or you will be waiting for a table. Read more
