Now! I?m not one to lie. The food was gross but i ate it cause i was hungry. The fried rice tasted like nothing but grease. And... the chicken wasnt burnt but tasted burnt. The yum yum sauce taste like mayo with sugar. Lol never again. I thought it would begood because when i walked in it was packed, but then i realized it was just hungry college kids probably tired of the cafeteriafood. It wasn?t worth the 30 minute wait. After walking around in circles near Hurt Park I finally found this restaurant and I'm glad I did. It was delicious, freshly... made and good prices. I had never tried hibachi until I got it. The worker seemed very kind and considerate. I will be back.Bonus it kept warm until I got home and I live near the airport. Read more

I?m on a mission to try all the local food places around the GSU campus and Mr. Hibachi is the latest stop on my adventures. The... restaurant itself is a tightly set up space with bar style tables and chairs so there?s pretty much no chance to eat withouthaving to sit near strangers. I saw another review say they immediately saw cockroaches when they opened the door but thankfullyI didn?t see any pests on my visit. The food itself was indeed hibachi style food with choices of chicken, beef, or shrimp formost of the entrées and a small selection of side dishes. I ordered the Steak Hibachi with a side of fried shrimp and it waspretty good. I instantly knew what I was eating was hibachi but there wasn?t any sort of unique flavouring. It was just steakand steamed rice. Not bad but not Earth shatteringly good either. The staff are friendly though I think there might be a fewcommunication issues here and there, I heard another person order something and they had to repeat it a few times because thecashier didn?t fully understand what they were saying. Overall I?d give Mr. Hibachi a solid 8/10, I?d definitely come back if Iwanted to eat something with rice on campus. Read more

My son and I are on vacation and he said he wanted teriyaki chicken and fried rice. A quick Google search brought up Mr.... Hibachi. I was a little worried when I walked in, it wasn't what I was expecting but nevertheless we ordered and waited maybe 10minutes for our food. It was SO GOOD. My 6 year old is used to our signature home town hibachi but this was so good he loved it!Large quantity also. We ate half and had the rest for dinner. Definitely fulfilled our quick lunch needs. Tried the Mr. Hibachi food truck at House in the Park. Waited over 30 min because they had run out of stuff only they didn?t... courteously mention that it would be a wait until after I had paid for the food. Got the chicken and the steak, both overcooked and way too salty with no other flavor. How can rice be over cooked and undercooked at the same time? They?ve figuredthat out. Everything tasted like soy sauce, super basic. Also charged an extra $5 to my card without saying so. I can?t standpaying that much for a food truck meal and the person serving the food is rude while they take your money. Overall left a badtaste in my mouth. Washed it down with a cup of $10 sugar water that had been sitting in the sun for hours. Didn?t help the badtaste. Read more

Good Japanese Food. You can eat healthy rice and chicken meat, not just sandwiches and hamburgers. The cashier is pleasant and... very helpful. Read more
