EDIT September 2022: Mindful Eatz is no longer an operating restaurant. They closed a few days ago. There is, however, a new... vegan restaurant called Rob?s Plant-Based Cuisine. I went today with another person and they were extremely kind. Though itwasn?t on their menu, we asked if they had vegan ?shrimp?, and they didn?t disappoint. The ?shrimp? and fries were delicious. The ?honey? mustard was tasty and we were given lemon to put on our shrimp. The meals are reasonably priced and I?ll definitelybe visiting again! I will definitely miss Mindful Eatz, but Rob?s Plant-Based Cuisine is, for-sure, an acceptable substitute! Read more

The place does not have a sign, which makes it a bit hard to find when driving by the small strip mall. The place is clean,... filled with light, and the friendly, smiling person that was taking my order made me feel welcomed. We got southern cauliflowerand a sriracha bean burger to go. I have been a vegetarian for most of my life and I really enjoy the fact that vegan/vegetarian restaurants are entering the main stream. The cauliflower was well breaded, good in texture, and the sauce wastomato-based sweet and with a nice bite. The first piece was great but I couldn't shake an aftertaste that didn't fit the greatopening. I don't eat much processed food and somehow I got the impression that these cauliflower bites were not made fromscratch. Not a big deal and all in all a good "fast food" dish that would warrant 4 stars. What made me drop to 3 stars was thebean burger. I applaud them not to use those highly processed beyond/impossible meat stand-ins but the bean burger had thetexture of mashed potatoes. There are many ways to get some tooth-feel into a veggie burger from TVP to cabbage or carrots. Imight be a bit too picky but I was not sold. Please swing by that place and try it for yourself. I like the concept, the style, and the smile. Read more

Came here for lunch with a vegan friend of mine, just to do something a little different?in the S.W.A.T.s. We really enjoyed... everything about it. The place was clean and simple. We asked for order suggestions and we were not disappointed. We had thenachos with the bean burger ?meat? on top! Delicious. The sriracha bbq sauce added and splashy kick. The meal was veryflavorful. My tastebuds were overjoyed. We dined in and sat at the cute counter with stools. The environment, althoughintimate, allowed us to have a full fledged girl talk, catch-up convo privately. And we were plenty comfortable with the box fankeeping us cool. The chef came out to check on us and let us taste the southern fried cauliflower. She said she?d be backwithin the week. Yes sirs and ma?ams. We definitely recommend you visit! The service was so friendly and helpful/welcoming. Thefood was great (and I?m not vegan). ???? Read more

I don't give 5 stars often but i think this place deserves it!!! I got the black bean burger with fries. They have a limited... menu, but it works out because what they do make is made well with somewhat ethical prices to boot. I came on a cold day somaybe it was just the air, but the vibe of this place was really pleasant. The cashier was nice and calm, and the cook seemednormal?! This is all good signs to me. If it were not for my time constraints I would have bought another meal. I was full buteverything here was so well made that even I felt like licking my fingers before leaving. Bun was toasted, the sauce was perfectfor the burger, and most importantly....the veggies were fresh and crisp! Read more
