My husband and I visited Miller Union many years ago closer to when it first opened. We recently went back, and it was just as... amazing as the first time. Steven Satterfield is a gifted chef, and the operation runs like a well-oiled machine, which madefor a lovely evening. Everything was delicious and scrumptious. The pork belly had an ambitious mixed of flavors and ittotally worked. We particularly loved the perfectly cooked yogurt marinated chicken, the cabbage side dish, the creativelyfried okra dish, and the beautiful salad of arugula, peach and melon salad. This New American eatery with farm-fresh, Southern-accented menu with a county modern space was impeccable with the very... accommodating service. The food was outstanding and plated very beautifully. We were on vacation and couldn’t skip desert. Weare so thankful to have experienced the amazing dessert prepared by Claudia Martinez. Claudia was about to go to Chicago tocomplete and I am sure she will place in the top James Beard Competition. I highly recommend this AMAZING place. It was one ofthe best meals I have ever had. Innovative American restaurant with great service Food: not too extensive innovative menu. Excellent food. Great wine... list. Service: excellent staff, well trained and extremely courteous. We came here specifically for the executive pastry chef: Claudia Martinez. We were sad to go to the previous restaurant she... worked at to discovered the quality of the pastries was not nearly as delicious or even plated well. We had to find where shewas making her new creations. Here, at Miller Union, she did not disappoint. Things you should know: I. LOCATION West SideAtlanta, close to West Side Provisions. It's easiest to just use the valet parking if you drove. II. SERVICE Veryaccomodating. III. QUALITY Outstanding ~ everything was presented beautifully. We were never huge sourdough fans before this,but we purchased the bread appetizer and enjoyed the doughy center and crispy outer layer of the slices. My date was addicted tothe butter spread. I think we're fans now. The brown butter mousse will blow your taste buds away with what other items it hasbeen paired with ~ definitely recommend trying one of the desserts here; it was the highlight of my dinner. IV. Fantastic food, wine and service. Sat outdoors on the heated patio. Was pleased to be Al fresco given the recent omicron... surge... The roasted oysters were fantastic! The pork chop and the duck entrees also delicious. Sticky toffee cake for dessertwas the perfect ending. Staff is super knowledgeable - especially when it comes to the extensive wine selection. The dinner was good. Service was excellent. I gave 4 stars as there wasn’t consistent in the level of the dishes compare to... its pricing. Recommend: Oysters, chicken, fish of the day, doughnuts. Read more
