I would like to start by saying that we have frequented the McCormick & Schmick's in Cincinnati on several occasions before we... moved to Georgia. The Cincinnati location more than exceeded our expectations for food quality, ambiance and amazingservice. Tonight, 11/12/2022, we drove 2½ hours to the Atlanta location only to leave very disappointed and taken back by ourexperience. Granted, they were busy due to several events including the Chris Stapleton concert. We had 5 p.m. reservations andwere seated about 10 minutes late which wasn't any inconvenience due to the high business levels. After being seated is when ourexperience took a down turn. My wife and I both ordered the pan seared Alaskan halibut. When the plates arrived, thepresentation was great, however, I sent my plate back due to the fish being completely raw. The replacement fish was fullycooked but pressed completely flat and overcooked but still had good flavor. My wife's appeared to be cooked perfectly. About 10minutes after we left, she started having bad stomach cramps and got sick 2 times before we got home (2 hour drive). Our serverwas very polite, however, she didn't check on us for drinks, etc., as often as preferred due to the high number of tables shewas tasked with. We were very disheartened by tonight's experience. We understand that things happen and would normally give ita second chance, but the fact that my fish was raw and hers made her quite ill, I doubt we will revisit the Atlanta locationagain. Service was very good. The food was also. If you're having an anniversary, or something like that, they may designate your... table as a VIP. You and your special guest can receive a choice of a preselected desserts from the menu. Their best dessert wasthe apple one, but it wasn't on the preselected menu. Enjoyed McCormick and Schmick before the Luke Combs concert July 30, 2022. Despite my guests being delayed from the massive rain... storm, the hosts Jarvis and Jessica (awesome host team) and our server Nae (excellent, patient and happy) took great care of us.Pre-ordered dinner so ready when everyone arrived. Excellent service and awesome food. Salmon, Steak - delicious. You need tobook this great restaurant really close to Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Olympic Park when in Atlanta. I absolutely loved everything about this location. Our server was so wonderful and knowledgeable about the menu. She made the... entire experience special without even knowing we were there to celebrate my late sisters birthday. Our food was fresh anddelicious, it’s obvious that the chefs take their time to prepare each plate. The presentation was beautiful and they evenhave private booths available for a private dining experience. Be prepared to spend some money but just know the experience isworth every dollar. I visited this place for a good friend's birthday dinner, on a busy & late Saturday night. Parking was terrible for such an... upscale restaurant; some may think 3 blocks away is decent. It closed at 10pm on a Saturday night. This confused me. Our serverJosh was amazing!!! I got the stuffed (shrimp & crab) salmon. Wasn't much shrimp or crab.
