NYC transplant here. After receiving a bunch of recommendations from neighbors in the area, I came in to place a takeout order.... Like previous reviews have mentioned, the workers will ignore you. There was a waitress there running around and couldn't evenbother to acknowledge anyone at the door. There were a group of people dining next to the main entrance ? I assume some of themwere the restaurant owners. They also ignored me as I walked in. I even sat next to them while I waited for my order and not oneperson greeted me but they did wave goodbye to a few others as they were leaving the restaurant. While I was placing my order, one of the owners (I'm assuming) forcefully bumped into me. I didn't think anything of it until he turned around to look back(realizing what he did). I thought he was going to apologize but he took one look at me then proceeded to turn back around andwalked right into the kitchen. What really irked me is that I intentionally ordered in person so I would receive a freshly madepie. It was clearly an older pizza that was reheated; the crust and bottom were completely burnt and the center of the pizza wasice cold. Far from hospitable. Food was nothing to rave about either. Calamari was freshly made but overall extremely bland.Hard pass. Won't return. Read more

The margherita was delicious but I would have loved some more leopard spotting and a fluffier crust. The ingredients were fresh... and the server was very courteous. Recommended! Read more

Moved from the Northeast years ago and still having problems find a good ole' NYC style pizza. Tried a few places and for some... reason it's all over salted. Marcello's was pretty close to a classic NY pizza. I have light cheese and well done. The sauceis not tangy and the dough was perfect. Will order again for sure! Grazie Grazie! Read more

Originally from up north, I'm always on a quest for good pizza, so I finally stopped in to check it out. WOW, it did not... disappoint, the Romano pizza was really excellent! The Melanzane Rollantini and other antipasti are really tasty, too. It's alocally owned neighborhood spot with an old school vibe, great service & inside, outside or bar seating - perfect for a date orgroups. They have a really nice wine list & the pours are generous (like back in the day before perfectly measured Barbie-sizeddrinks became the norm). I sure hope they stay afloat after this covid business settles down because it really is a wonderfullittle neighborhood gem. Read more

Disgustingly horrible food and truly a disgrace to Italians everywhere. Ordered a chicken alfredo. Pasta was so dry, nearly... sauceless and had absolutely no flavor. Alfredo isnt hard - heavy cream, butter, parmesan. But i promise you, none of these wereused to make this alfredo because it was dry af and had no alfredo taste whatsoever. The ?organic chicken? that costs an extra7$ to add was gross. Who wants pale, unseasoned chicken on top of unseasoned alfredo?? What was serious disappointment. Its likethey didnt even TRY to make a good dish. Why does your chicken have no color? When i got home with it (because i did takeout) iadded my own truffle oil, shaved parmesan, cracked black pepper, parsley and red pepper flakes which is why my photo looks goodbut trust me, thats not what your dish will look like. Ugh!! Best thing was the ceasar salad. Will never eat here again. Read more

First time ordering/eating here and last time. I placed a small order and was told it would be 15 minutes. 18 minutes later I... walk in to pick up my order and no one even flinches to help. As depicted in the photo they aren't busy at all two tables areoccupied in the entire place and two outside. A man walks in a couple of minutes behind me and they run up to him (and aroundme) to help him. I've been in here 11 minutes at this moment and no one has helped or even acknowledged me. A waitress finallyasked how I am doing and I let her know that I'm waiting for my order and she says" no I asked how you are doing". Irritatedlady, I'm irritated. Maybe 5 minutes later the person who originally took my order walks in from his break and asked what Iordered then walks away. No please wait however much longer, sorry for the delay or anything. If I hadn't paid already I wouldhave just left. Read more
