LOVE this sushi! No idea why this place has less than at least 4 stars. I've lived and had sushi all over the States and... Makimono is definitely some of the best sushi in Atlanta at this price point, and can stack up to some of the best for mostcities in the US. The Island and Tuna Crunch rolls are so well balanced. Plus, while the rolls are packed with deliciousnesswhich makes them pretty big, they actually cut the rolls perfectly where you can fit a whole piece in your mouth without chokingyourself (unlike a lot of other places). The gyoza are also perfectly cooked and well filled. The sushi came with plenty ofginger and wasabi and was very fresh even on a Sunday night. Highly suggest giving this place a try and don't read into thelower than 4 star rating! Read more

It?s a cool spot and they have some great dishes on the menu but my only complain is it?s a bit overpriced. I wasn?t expecting... my 2 California rolls to come out to $32. All in all cool place to hang out, take pictures and try some overpriced sushi Read more

I see all of these bad reviews on service. I got to say I love my sushi and I?ve been in the restaurant business for some 30... years. My wife and I go every other day. We treat the order taker with respect and we have never had an issue. The sushi isworth it, no matter about service. Their quick, good and maybe sassy but your in and out with amazing food. Okay so to be fair, their sushi had a lit name but they cut too big, like it?s an irritatingly big shape that can?t fit in your... mouth like a normal sushi and I couldn?t enjoy it ,the whole cut just threw me off and some of the price not worth it becauseit?s not that good,at least what they served me was meh,it made me unnecessarily angry ruined my mood.even a Publix sushi chefhad a more fine precise cut on the food and it fits your mouth Read more

We went to this location yesterday. There was a line to get inside the Krog but this location was not too busy inside when we... arrived. It was filled when we were leaving around 7pm. We ordered makimono, twister, dragon and crunch. We also got a kidschicken yakisoba. Everything was generous serving 10 pieces in each roll and noddles were plenty too. Everything tasteddelicious and came very quickly. Person who was serving us (sorry couldn?t catch your name) was very nice and attentive. Thankyou for a nice experience. Read more
