First order I placed 7/19 was missing sides I ordered. I loved what DID show up, so I gave them a second shot today. Today,... 7/20, it showed up in full - HOWEVER - my $4.20 per side order of macaroni and cheese measured 1/3 of a cup. $8.20 for 2/3 of acup of macaroni and cheese. See photo. Really bummed out. I?m visiting for business and would?ve ordered every day of the tripif they didn?t fail me twice. Maybe getting food in person is better, as I ordered. Solid food. Got Boxcar and Friendship Bracelet. Sweet pots and mac and cheese very flavorful. Broccoli was overcooked, fritters... a bit under cooked and mealy. Probably better to eat this in store than takeout, and ask for extra sauce. Read more

I finally tried Maepole. Overall, a good salad - and I love my salads. I got the spring pea salad that I think is a special menu... item right now. I added chicken. My only negative was that it could have been slightly more chicken and it got fairly expensive($19) BUT, the salad was very filling and I liked that the dressing wasn?t overpowering the salad. I was worried this restaurant would be overhyped by the look of their marketing, but the food delivered. It isn?t the freshest... as much of the food had been sitting in a heat tray, but the flavors really delivered. I made a meal of brown rice, quinoa, rootveggies, mac and cheese, mushroom fritters, and an avocado spicy sauce. Have tried it twice now and I highly recommend this place! The concept is very similar to Upbeet and Flower child, so if you... like those places, you will love Maepole! All their packaging are compostable and focuses on sustainability! I got both timesthe build your own where you pick a base, 2 sides, and a protein. The portion size was great, well seasoned and tasty! Best ofall it caters to gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and dairy free ppl! I myself ordered the broccoli rice, beet salad and the veghash, and had the chicken! Their sauces are super unique and not too salty, and I got the spicy Avocado sauce on the sauce.Again, highly highly recommend this place. It?s my new go to now for a healthy and quick meal!! First time trying Maepole after hearing about their new location, and it was spot on. Ordering is simple like chipotle as you... build your meal. They also have set menu items if you don't want to build your own. All of the ingredients and options werefresh and tasted great. With all of the different options, you could make all kinds of new combos. The price is also great. Youget a hefty amount of food, and I was pretty full after.
