I?m a long time lover of Kobe?s as this was one of my go to spots living in Florida and I was happy to see there was a location... nearby! My husband and I came here for dinner. We ordered sushi and we each ordered an entree. The sushi was tasty however theroll kept falling apart every time we picked up a piece. Our drinks were very weak, basically juice. I ordered the udon and myhusband ordered fish. Both were very good! The ginger salad was drenched in the dressing which is a strong pass. They deserve 5 stars just for the portions alone! Once the Chef put the rice on my plate, I thought that there was no way the... rest of the food would fit on there! Be that as it may, the quality of the food was excellent. I got the Kobe Special and themeat was tender and cooked just right. The shrimp was also a nice size and very delicious. I just love the hibachi fried rice!!!! I had a party of 13 guest. Once I arrived we could not be seated until my entire party... was there. This location was clean, and the entrance was nice and well decorated. They sat us in a private room. We went on aTuesday night for my daughter birthday. Our chef seems to have been the only cook so perhaps he was tired. He could have went alittle easy on the seasoning but was still edible. My salmon was almost burnt until I spoke up and asked him to take it off thegrill before it became blacken char. Usually there is more entertainment while cooking but he was luke warm and very messy whilecooking, you can see in the pic below. My hostess made our experience very pleasant. Food and drinks are delicious. The portions are more than generous, and the cooks are attentive to diner?s specific requests. I... went with a party of three. We were told it would be a 15 minute wait, but I don?t believe it was that long. We spent more timeat the table waiting for a cook to come get us started. I wasn?t the only person who noticed the wait time either. They closeat 10 on Thursdays at the time of writing this, and you can tell they?re trying to get you out before closing time. We went with hopes to enjoy the Hibachi experience but it was a 45 minute wait, so we choose to sit in a booth. We were able to... sit down immediately and the server was quick with our order. The food was still very tasty without the Hibachi experience. Theportions for the Hibachi were perfect. The salads were a little heavy on the dressing, but it still tasted good. So I was supposed to go to Panera bread but it just so happens that a friend of mine took me here instead and surprise me. I... wanted to sit at the table with other guests as they cook the food around you with an experience chef but I don't know why wedidn't but it is what it is. But I must say the food was so delicious it was basically on point with benihana's. And OMG thesushi was so freaking delicious and they have so many you can choose from especially if you have a shellfish allergy like myselfand kind of hesitant on trying it. Great for a date or low key dinner, I would recommend hanging out at the bar because the wait to be seated is an hour plus.
