This cozy little ramen shop is an amazing place for a quick, deeply satisfying meal. We ordered the karaage with shishito... peppers, takoyaki, spicy miso ramen w/ pork belly, and the yasai ramen w/ battered shrimp. We also tried the iced sweet plumtea. The kaarage was good, but not the best I've ever had. The takoyaki was excellent, so fresh and deliciously umami. Thespicy miso ramen was really good, had a nice subtle hint of ginger underlying the creamy and savory chicken flavor. The yasaiwas also very good, the broth's flavor wasn't as rich as the spicy miso, but I loved how spicy it was even at level 2. It alsocame with a lot of toppings. I don't recommend adding battered shrimp as it only comes with 3 (admittedly decent) pieces. Thesweet plum tea was refreshing and delicious. It tastes more caramel-y than typical southern sweet tea so it's worth a try. Soglad we kicked off our visit here! Thanks to the very friendly waitress who gave us recommendations of places to go and try inthe area. ???? Also, there's a 10% student discount with valid ID! Ramen was excellent. I got the level 5 chicken ultra spicy tori paitan myself and was very happy with it. I love spicy food so I... felt like it could’ve used more heat but was happy overall. The portions look small in the pictures but they are actuallyquite large. I was full after eating half of the serving so you could probably even split the dish with another person. My partyordered fish, pork, chicken, and teriyaki AND nobody complained about their meal. It’s really that good! Servers were supernice and restaurant itself was clean. We went on a Sunday at noon and were seated immediately. Be aware that they automaticallyadd an 18% gratuity tip to any party 4 and over. Definitely recommend! Read more
I had such a pleasant dining experience. The waiter Christian was very knowledgeable and patient. It was my first time dining... here and he took time and educated me on the menu and their offerings. If you are in the Ponce City Market area this restaurantis definitely a vibe!!! Must try!!! Read more
Went here between classes and it’s a cute, tidy little shop on Ponce. Personally the ramen wasn’t super spicy which I was... worried about at first but it packs a nice little kick so don’t be worried that it is labeled as ultra spicy as you can alwaysadjust this. I was recommended the brussel sprouts which weren’t my favorite, but the takoyaki was amazing so it made up forit. The drinks like the lychee martini I tried and the yuzu tea are a must if you like sweet drinks like me. All in all, thisramen is good if you’re in the area and you want something tasty and fast. Literally, my meal came out in two minutes- it wasinsane. I would totally come here again with my friends considering the food was good and staff were awesome. Read more
