I?m so happy I stumbled upon this place while visiting Atlanta. I tried their oxtail which was semi sweet and falling off the... bone; the rice and peas and cabbage was equally amazing. Their curry goat was spiced so perfectly, you will not regret eatinghere. Read more

I?m sorry but coming from Chicago, I?m accustomed to ?jerk chicken? actually being prepared on a real grill. I was sadly... disappointed to find out that this restaurant does cook their meat in an outside grill, thus it lacks that real ?grill? flavorthat makes jerk chicken pop! I gave 2 stars because the spices used on my chicken tasted good. Although, my chicken tasted old.It was definitely not freshly prepared that day. How wonderful and deliciously savory the cuisine and atmosphere of Kemper?s Cafe! My big sis and I entered the restaurant?s... island decor one sun-splashed Saturday. Our tastebuds longed for the tropical spice of another place. We found it on theother side of the glassed-in showcase, which offered up scrumptious delights found on Kemper?s menu! We made our thoughtfulchoices and discovered heaping, colorful servings of food.
