The young lady and older lady at the desk were really nice while we waited. I called in my order, waited an hour, drove there... and waited another hour. The food was really good at first, but a few hours later I became very sick along with my coworker. Weboth had food poisoning. This place give you a number but that doesn't matter. I know they have call in orders but when I called in they told me they... weren't taking call on orders. I went there and they were there normal 2 and a half hours or more. I haven't been to the JJs inyears and I want be back until another 7 years or more. I told the cashier because of there service I learned how to cook Rib. Ijust didn't want to cook this weekend. I give this place a 0/zero. Read more
It used to be the place to go to get barbecue but nowadays when I tell you it is not what it used to be. The ribs are cooked too... fast and they come out. Really tough. The potato salad is obviously store-bought and not really seasoned and when you call in totry and complain about anything you never get an answer and there's always a voice message that you can't leave a message. I gave 2 stars only cause they are super slow. The food is good and affordable but omg waiting over 2 hours for some ribs/tips.... No no no no unacceptable and then the customer service is non existent. The cashier could have explain before people placethere orders. I wasted half my day and still walked out empty handed. Best ribs in the South West Atlanta area! Caution just be prepared to wait up to 3 hours for your food depending on the day you... go. Do not try to go there around the holidays or your lunch break thinking you can get something quick. 7/9/22- in and out inless than 20 minutes today; got there as soon as they opened. This place came highly recommended. I haven't even gotten my food yet and it's a no for me. I have been here 2 hours. I drove a... tad bit over a hour to get here and will drive another to get back home. I felt my whole Saturday will have been wasted if Ileave without my food. The smell is devine and I hope that some of my disappointment will vanish once I get my food. However, itcan taste like liquid gold and I will NEVER come back. UPDATE: I changed my rating from 1 star to 3...2 hours and 20 minutes toget my food. Pros: Ribs were AMAZING!!! Fresh, hot and the sauce was good. So was the chicken! I tried the Mac and cheese, greens, potatoes salad and strings and they were all just ok. I've never been in this area and wouldn't know how to pass timewhile I wait that long for my food. They simply know to make great ribs and rib tips. It will, unfortunately take a while to get your food if ordering a lot but... well worth it when you eat it.
