Happened upon this place because we wanted to just get some appetizers after looking at the murals nearby and so glad we did! We... got the street fries, Vietnamese pizza and fried mushrooms, and all shared. So delicious!! They were each super good, but thepizza was really special and different with Asian slaw on top. Great vibe and great food! Read more

I almost don't even want to share this underrated gem. There are so many fun and tasty options for vegetarians and meat eaters... alike. My favorite is the curry shrimp noodle bowl. One of the best curries out there and definitely made in house! Read more

The service and atmosphere was great, the food is where I had the problem . There was pineapples and no eggs in my fried rice, I... wish there was some sort of description off the menu about this at all. Other than that it was pretty good Read more

We such a nice time here! We sat outside, and the environment and street were a lot like New Orleans. The staff was attentive... and very friendly and charming even though they were very busy. My husband had the Mongolian Beef Philly and LOVED it. He’snot usually that expressive about food, but he went on and on about it. I was happy for the gluten free pizza option. We arerarely in Cabbagetown, but will be back to JenChan’s! Read more

Decided to drop in for an early dinner based on the good rating and favorable reviews. This place was a big let down and missed... the mark on multiple levels. Here's the deets: - For starters they had an unavailable menu item (fried blue crab claws) -1pt -I ordered the TSOA chicken with mixed vegetables. I took one bite of the chicken and decided not to consume. The texture of themeat did not taste like a quality product (if you know...you know). - I immediately let the server know I didn't like thedish, and they could clearly see I hadn't eaten the dish, but was told they could only take off 20% for the plate. That was afirst! I have never had a restaurant not complety take of an item that was sent back-especially if it was uneaten. A restaurantshould never be that cheap to refuse a full refund for food sent back. - Ending on a bright note. I also ordered the pork eggrolls which were very tasty, I'd recommend it. Read more

WOW!! DO NOT MISS THIS EXPERIENCE!! My wife and I had the good fortune to find JenChan's through a gluten free restaurant... locating app, and are we ever thankful! They have such a fun and inviting atmosphere, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and INCREDIBLE food!! The flavors are out of this world. They are creating truly inspired and skillfully executed culinaryexperiences, I can't praise them enough for the food we were privileged to experience. Exceptionally great food, great vibes anddecor, awesome schwag (I got a sweet souvenir hoodie), and wonderful people. We were seated immediately, and Kaitlin was warm, freindly, and enthusiastic. Knowledgeable beer advice and attentive service throughout our dining made the experience evenbetter. We started with some dlicious gluten free beers and Radish Wraps. These treats are so refreshing and flavorful, withcrisp radish slices, Kimchi collards and Vietnamese seasoned cabbage and veggies, possibly our favorite food-find in quite sometime! We also had the meatless Mongolian beef dish, and the meatless option Vietnamese pork gluten free pizza -mind-blowinglydelicious! The pizza was made with an in-house gluten free flour and cauliflower mixed crust, freshly made to order. Crisp andexceptionally flavorful, perfect pizza crust. The flavors are absolutely brilliant, and executed so well. Can't wait to returnand experience more! Do yourself a favor and don't miss an opportunity to experience the brilliant and inspired dishes beingserved at this rare gem of a dining experience. Read more

I love that Jen Chan’s is a locally, and female owned business! Their food is good, but I always keep it basic and order the... wings and pork bowl… They also have a really great selection of DELICIOUS prepared foods, to go, if you don’t have time tohang out. They have the best chicken pot pie, I’ve ever tasted… My favorite NEW THING is their 4-6pm happy hour, on Fridayand Saturday’s. Tim, their new bartender, has a truly magical touch, when it comes to mixing spirits and is adding polish totheir mixed beverage selection! I’m excited to see what new cocktails will be added to their menu, as properly mixed cocktailsare always more fun, than just drinks ???? I’m especially excited for the Aviation cocktail, Tim has created, with CapitolGin, and let me taste test, to formally hit the new cocktail menu, along with the Tim Martini, I always request for him to makeme! I’m adding to my review, again! Tim has created a new cocktail for their menu, called “The Golden Girls Thank You ForBeing A Friend” , as an obvious ode to Betty White, and it is the best rye based cocktail I’ve had in longer than I canremember!!!! I had a few of those cocktails, with the Fried Maitake Mushrooms, and the Crispy Asian Wings, about a week or so,ago, during their Happy Hour, and all that, turned my frown upside down! Read more

Went here for brunch on a Sunday. Cute little local spot. You see a lot of regulars here. Brunch menu is limited, they have more... stuff for lunch and dinner. Parking is tricky, only on a narrow street. Service was good, the food was great. Loved the spicywings, one of the best I have tasted. I tried donut, if you like cinnamon go for it. And their breakfast rolls was a mix ofsweet and savory which was amazing. I would want to try this place for lunch or dinner. I would definitely recommend it. Theyalso have pan dishes readymade for potlucks and dinners. Read more
