Came here to grab a quick bite and the experience was lackluster. Our food had a hair and ruined our meal. I took it to the... manager and they only offered to comp the item that had a hair. Fine. I mean that?s nasty but whatever. He then tells me hewould need to void the payment completely and then take payment again? Excuse me but your restaurant made an error and now Ihave to give you my card again. I don?t feel I should be responsible for paying twice for a meal I couldn?t finish do to thehair and disgusting conditions in This business. The chicken wasn?t well seasoned. Fairly good fried chicken shop located inside Ponce City Market. We ordered a half chicken family meal to share with 3 people,... and it was a great value and enough to share with all the inclusions. Chicken is crunchy and has good flavor. Mac and cheese wasdecent as well, but the coleslaw was a bit too vinegar forward for my taste (could just be personal preference!). The store isan order at the window stand with takeaway to seating in the main hall. There is usually a bit of a line to order, but theservice is pretty fast. Read more

Hop?s was absolutely delicious!! Came here for 4 days to visit from out of state with my 2 friends and we all absolutely loved... the food. The employee who took our orders was not nice at all and forgot to give us a drink. It was difficult to get herattention. The food made up for any bad experiences. It was amazing and if I lived in Atlanta I know I would be a regular here.The fried chicken was nicely spiced and moist all the way through. The fried apple pie was just perfect. Saw a hype video about their spicy sandwich a while back and read some comments praising it. Wish I'd looked at the rating.... Wound up at Ponce City Market for the first time and impulsively decided to try. A drunk guy actually pushed me forward in line,nearly into the woman placing an order ahead of me, there was nowhere for me to go, he just shrugs like whoops. First off handsto yourself and still social distance regardless of anything. Then the employee was all attitude, I just asked for the sandwichplain with sauce on the side and it seemed like a major inconvenience, apparently it was. Grabbed some tenders to see if theywere any good, some mac n cheese, and a biscuit. They were out of biscuits, wanted to try something else while I was there so Iasked for an apple pie instead. They left out the pie, no sauce for the tenders, and put sauce on the sandwich anyway. Thechicken sandwich wasn't drained of any grease so it spewed oil all over my shirt, the tenders were lukewarm and the breading wassliding off parts from what I tried to taste. The mac n cheese was grainy as all get out, someone didn't stir the flour inproperly. $30 for missing food, wrong order, bad food, no dipping sauce, really awful service, and washing out grease stains.Mac n cheese was gritty, inedible mush and went in the garbage. The chicken sandwhich was nothing crazy. It was well cooked and made, but the favor was just of a normal chicken sandwhich. I... did get the regular sandwhich because they were sold out of the chef's special. I wouldn't spend 10 dollars on a regularsandwhich like this. Read more

Hubby and I are fried chicken lovers and we are from Alabama so we know good fried chicken. We are always a bit hesitant to try... restaurant fried chicken but given the long line we assumed that this place may be okay. Boy were we right about that! Thischicken was as close to home cooked fried chicken as it gets. It?s obviously marinated in buttermilk and the seasoning isphenomenal. The Mac & cheese and apple pie were both amazing. Greens could?ve had more seasoning but no complaints there. I?lldefinitely be going back. Read more
