Have you ever heard someone say "I almost hurt myself" as in metaphorically speaking? Listen here people I almost hurt myself... enjoying this food. I dare not say a competitor's name while giving a review, but for the life of me there was this Frenchtoast at another restaurant that I thought would never in life be topped. Well I be doggone if Highland Bakery easily toppedit and is now my favorite place to get french toast. My daughter and I are in agreement that this is the case. The omlet I hadwas excellent and my daughter kept taking a few bites out of it. Lol. The price is worth the taste. I'll be visiting againsoon. Read more

So for a last minute alternative because the other choices had 2 hour wait times we stopped by Highland Bakery (cafe ) in... Buckhead the 2 person staff that was there did a Great job ???????? the ????????? in the back even came out to apologize forrunning out of grits and offered a substitute and the sweet potato pancake was Really good, brown sugar syrup delicious, crispbacon, and crispy potatoes as specified were not a disappointment at all. Caprese sandwich tasty. Great service, good food andaccommodating chef - not so great was the limited seating, no AC in the building lobby, other than that would visit again ?. Andrecommend ? Was served raw eggs, as you can tell in the picture where the knife is and the chicken was poorly seasoned. Potatoes were raw,... and I?ve had better grits from Walmart. Please do not come to this place. I am utterly disappointed and this has no reason tohave above a half a star :( Read more
