Ordered the 2020 Burger Week special for $10 and got a ton of food! The mac and cheese was good, but the poutine, crawfish... beignets, and regular beignets were outstanding! You get plenty food for the money. Staff is always pleasant. Doesn't take forever to get my food. I've only had the Turkey BLT... so far, but a great sandwich. Will definitely try other things on the menu. Read more
I went to Hector's for lunch with my coworkers and the service was excellent! I ordered the Raspberry Salad and substituted the... chicken for shrimp and they were able to accommodate. It was delicious, and fresh! I also ordered the Asian Salmon and myhusband loved it for dinner! My coworkers ordered the Salmon Salad and the Lasagne both enjoyed their food. The price wasexcellent, it also included a free drink and desert. I would recommend highly!!! They also have a buffet! Read more
I found out about Hector's from a few co-workers--the restaurant is sort of hidden, near the Curb Market. On my first visit, I... stopped by to request a last-minute pineapple cake (9-inch) for a belated birthday gathering, and I was able to pick it up thevery next day! It was quite tasty, I'm guessing the icing was some sort of butter cream, but it wasn't overly-sweet, and therewere pineapple bits inside of the cake as well. The two gentlemen who assisted me (sorry, I didn't get their names) were niceand helpful as well. I have eaten at Hector?s quite a few times. The food was pretty good for me to return. Last week my coworker and I went to eat... breakfast at Hector?s. My turkey sausage was under cooked. My co workers waffle was brick hard. When I called to speak with themabout the food They were very rude. The manager asked me ?What do I want him to do about it?. Then rather rudely stated ?Thesausage is not cooked here. I will return the money to your card and hung up the phone. Great customer service and a Greatmanager would have offered me a free meal or even to recook the food we ordered. I will NEVER eat here again. Customer Serviceis everything. Read more
I got the chicken wings, Mac and cheese, and buttermilk pie. Everything was good and chicken wings were hands down the BEST... wings I've had in a looooong time! So crispy, the right amount of heat in the hot sauce, and a great amount of chicken on eachwing. Also the service was superb- even held the door for me when I left. Great experience. I recently visited Hecter?s kitchen and simply stated I didn?t like the banana pudding but the cake was delicious to the waiter.... The manager came out of his office and started making disrespectful comments about if the dessert is free why would someonecomplain about it. He stated several other rude comments loud so I could hear since I was eating in the dining area. This isunprofessional and wasn?t necessary. If a customer says that a dessert isn?t that good at least take the criticism and let theperson that?s preparing the dessert so they can try to improve it. I won?t be spending my money anytime soon here. The food isgood and the price is reasonable but don?t let a customer hear your comments because you can?t take criticism. Oh well.
