What happened to this place? We all had to send our mimosas back. They were bitter & off. Then I had to send a Bloody Mary back... 2x. Service was very slow. We didn’t get new drinks we ordered, water, OR food for a very long time. Then orders were wrongwhen they arrived. My scrambled hash was burned in some places & tasteless. Barely any meat. They didn’t have salt, pepper,or condiments on the table until asked. Things were bad from the bartender to the management of customer orders, etc. they tookthe drinks off the bill but I wished I stayed home & cooked! Avoid this place. Read more
The food would have been good if the kitchen could have gotten it out to us hot. My burger and fries were barely warmer than... room temp. My beet friends fried fish had cooled to the point the batter coating it had gotten soggy. The service was prettygood which is why I left two stars instead of one. Visited Inman Park festival a couple of weeks ago and thought I’d return for brunch! Found Hampton + Hudson on Yelp and... thought we’d give it a try… so glad we did! The ambiance is rustic chic (one of my faves) with a beautiful outdoor seatingarea and back room for events. Our server was Christiana and she was fantastic throughout! For starters I had mint tea withginger, honey and lemon. My husband had coffee. We ordered a half a cinnamon roll which Is enough for three! Lol. Tastedgreat! I couldn’t decide if I wanted grits or home fries so Christiana brought me a sample of grits. You can check out mypics to see what I chose. I was not disappointed. We arrived for brunch as soon as they opened and it was surprisingly quiet for a Saturday. We were seated in a comfortable place... and the staff was very kind and professional. I ordered the chicken biscuit and although it looks great it was lacking in taste.Thankfully they were able to provide hot sauce to improve the taste. The Belgian waffle however was good, and so was the mimosa.For the price, this place is fine. Read more
