A friend and I were in town for an event (you know one) and were staying an extra day. We tossed around ideas and decided we... wanted some ramen. This place came up as an option with good ratings and reasonable prices and it wasn't a long drive so off wewent. It is SO good. The prices are amazing, we even got dessert which was delicious (those little red bean filled fish shapedcakes that I can never remember the name of). Their noodles are the perfect bounce and chew and that broth was delightful! They were great about accommodations because I hate eggs but my friend loves eggs so they let her have mine. We may have juststarted a new Labor Day tradition. Zero regrets! Read more

Great Japanese restaurant with a lot of menu options! All the dishes were tasty and authentic. The fish in the chirashi don felt... fresh and high quality. A good option for Japanese in the perimeter! Came on a Friday evening and was able to get a tableimmediately. When we sat down there was a notice at the table that accompanied the menus informing us that due to inflation andrising supply chain costs that prices of menu items had increased. I appreciated the transparency, but I did not realize at thetime that this meant the menu would not reflect the price increase, rather that the final bill would cost more than the listedprice. My sushi bowl was $5 extra and the appetizer was ~$2 extra. Understandable given the notice, but I was still a bitsurprised. Great place to grab a casual dinner, and I liked all the options on the menu! Read more

We got there around 9pm after an event and were very excited they were open until 11pm. The vibe is great, the service is as... great and the food was amazing. Absolutely amazing. We?re always trying out new sushi and ramen places and we would drive backhere from our house, which is about 30 miles away. The prices are extremely fair and with 2 sushi rolls and ramen, it was $31before tip. I highly highly recommend!! Read more

I'd like to get better at leaving reviews and the service I received here was definitely worth taking note. We came on a Friday... evening and were seated immediately. The menu is HUGE so bring your appetite with you. I loved the diverse menu and there isso much Japanese food fare you don't typically see in Japanese restaurants. I got a Asahi beer and went to town orderingmultiple items. We got the oshinko pickles which were delicious. Some sushi, takoyaki, agedashi tofu which was in savory, delicious broth. I had a few skewers- the oyster mushroom and shishito(try it with lemon and salt it is positively scrumptious! For my main dish I had ochazuke which a lighter dish of rice steeped in a flavourful broth with green tea. We of course ended ona sweet note with some yummy taiyaki and the ice cream steeped in plum wine. Our food came out fast and the servers were on topof clearing our plates. (We had many as you can imagine) our server was very attentive and I really appreciated it! Keep doingwhat you guys do best! Wish I had a restaurant like you close to me!???? Read more

I am a regular for one reason: fresh and high quality Japanese food. Very authentic Japanese dishes that you wouldn?t normally... see made well anywhere else. The fish is always fresh and I love the variety they have. You don?t just get tuna, but there?smultiple different types of tuna of different fattiness for every palate. Love the chefs and staff here, always make me feelwelcome!! Read more
