I got 2 bags of the mixed and was so disappointed. Usually when I sample in the car I eat at least half of the bag. Today it... tasted cold and stale. I was finished after a handful. My sister also bought a bag and she said hers wasn't fresh. As we satnearby we saw them replenish the cheesy batch from a HUGE plastic bag.. definitely NOT made fresh. Very disappointed. I waswilling to pay their high prices for really good popcorn. Not anymore. I won't go out of my way to get Garrett's again. I'mover them if this is the quality I can expect. Read more

I usually love The popcorn here. It was a little stale and the Carmel was in big clusters so the mix wasn't the best. The... popcorn isn't cheap so I was disappointed that I drove all the way there to be unsatisfied when I got home. Read more

The only popcorn I eat I love the cheese and caramel mix. I'm so glad I don't have to pick any up when I go to Chicago. They... only use fresh ingredients. If you don't eat it within 3 days it will turnstale. Keeping it in the can does extended an extraday or two, but it's so good once you start eating it you won't be able to stop. We bought three large bags of popcorn for my daughter's birthday party - cheese, butter, and caramel. The butter popcorn had no... flavor at all and the cheese was overly salty. All three flavors tasted stale which made it on the soggy side. We had 10swimmers at our house and none of them ate more of a few handfuls just to try it. I received my order from Garrett's it looked like they scouped the bottom of popcorn with huss and all the pieces of popcorn. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Garrett's Popcorn... but I was terribly disappointed in this visit. The Popcorn was clumped together... and simply did not taste fresh. I felt like it wouldn't be because usually I can smell the Popcorn as I approach, but this timeI didn't smell anything. This is one of the few shops outside of the Chicago area and I was so glad it reopened. I hope the nextexperience is better. Read more
