Tasty and quick! Just the way I like it on occasion. I was on a time crunch but I needed to eat. I ordered over easy eggs,... grits, a biscuit and a pancake. The grits was nice and creamy and the chicken sausage patties were yummy! I sat at the barstoolseating as I was eating alone. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Read more

Definitely have the award winning grits that they advertise!! I don't like grits, but I liked them! ???? The food was good but... it didn't have the gluten free options available that I was hoping for, just a few dishes like omelets that were gluten free. They did also have some vegetarian options but again just a few. Very eclectic atmosphere and friendly staff. It is a very smallplace so it would be very hard to maneuver in a wheelchair or walker for those who use them. They offer catering service aswell. There was a pretty long wait outside the restaurant, but that?s how you know it?s going to be good. At first we were skeptical... cause the food is not photogenic but looks can be deceiving. After our first bite of the grits we knew the food was going to begreat. For midtown area the prices were very affordable. Food 5/5 waitress 5/5 prices 5/5 Read more

Always LOVE ?? eating at Flying Biscuit Cafe. Midtown location is a great community eatery. ????? You can feel the vibe as... people walk by enjoying life. ???? The service was great. We had 6 in our party and was seated pretty quick. Keke, our server, was on point with getting our drinks out quick while handling her other tables. ???????? Although some of us were not ready togive her our order when she came back, she was patient in guiding us to the better meal choices since some of us are super pickyeaters. ???? Since we were enjoying the fellowship of friends, we didn't realize the time it took for our food to come out, which is great because it seems pretty fast. ???? My wife and I ended up ordering the same thing - The High Flyer. I did 2oatmeal pancakes. We both did scramble eggs, chicken sausage, and had those awesome creamy grits. She ate my peach mix and I hadsome blueberries. ???? ALL the food was GREAT. ????? Read more

I searched for brunch and this is one of the places that caught my eye so I gave it a go. When I arrived there was a small wait... time of around 30 minutes before we could enter. It says they are short staffed but it definitely didn't show up in service. When we were seated our waiter, Daniel took our order for drinks and they were back within 3 minutes. We ordered mimosas but ittasted more like champagne than the flavors (mango and strawberry/kiwi) that they were suppose to have. We tried the grits andyou can build your bowl with toppings of your choice based on menu availability and it came with a biscuit and cran/applebutter. The bowl was good but that buscuit and cran/apple butter... delicious! We also had the chicken and waffles. It was tastyand fresh as well. I think the only downfall would be the size of the space and the temperature. It's a very tight space and notwheelchair friendly. I think you can feel the a/c near the center of restaurant but the outer doesn't have it. They have thesehuge windows that open up and if the weather is right outside it will be a plus but if it's hot I'm not sure if the experienceis gonna be great. Daniel was excellent in attentiveness and super polite. Overall, I would recommend and I'll be going back. Read more
