It's so sad! I've lived here for two years and passed by this gem repeatedly. This perfect rating course reflects the quality of... the food but the service is unmatched. 2nd review: Wanted some real pizza and decided to come back bc they have some really good pizza! Got the Portobello pizza and a... Veggie pizza with white sauce sub broccoli for caramelized onions. We also each ordered a watermelon margarita which camegarnished with an actual watermelon slice. The watermelon margarita was flavorful but wasn't the best. My bf made a commentabout how strong his drink so I tasted his and realized that his tasted much better than mine. I mentioned it to the waitressand she was kind enough to have it remade, and the remake was so much better. The pizzas were delicious! The crust is perfectlycrispy and tastes like they season the dough. The cheese was stretchy and everything was overall great. Def recommend givingthem a try. They have a nice patio too that I suggest sitting on when the weather is nice. 1st review: Visited on a Thursdayfor dinner. I wanted to sit outside but it rained earlier that day so it was still wet. We opted for a booth and our servergreeted us. We ordered waters while we looked over the menu. They had a pizza of the day which was spinach and mushrooms with awhite sauce and I decided to order that. My bf ordered the Portabello pizza. I can't remember the name of the drink, but it wassimilar to a mule and he ordered something else lol. It wasn't until the pizzas arrived that we realized we had pretty muchordered the same pizza lol. There were differences but they were minor. The pizza and drinks were both delicious. We came here for my wife birthday dinner yesterday because pizza is one of her favorite food. The restaurant was not crowded and... had a good atmosphere. The service was awesome and the food was delicious. This was our first time here and it will not be thelast. It was a great experience. I'm not a pizza person but I enjoyed my Meat pizza very much. The first bite I could taste thesmokiness flavor from the oven and the crust was crispy and the taste was fresh and amazing. There's a nice selection of red andwhite pizza. My daughter in-law choose to come here because of the Craft cocktail and Craft beer menu. For appetizers weordered Lemon Pepper wings with ranch dressing and they were so good and the Pork Belly Toast which everyone said they were verydelicious. We ordered the Veggie pizza, Meat pizza with Red Sauce and my son built his own Steak pizza. We also ordered theFirepit Dip sandwich with grilled steak and provolone and au jus ???? Ive driven up and down this street for years and never knew about this little hidden gem! They may have only been there for a... couple years but they are forever on my radar now! Ordered the Honey Pizza and the Unicorn wings. FABULOUS! The service andstaff were wonderful. This visit was for lunch during the week so it wasn't too crowded or busy. Read more

I have been to Firepit a few times. The atmosphere is great and so is the service. We recently came here on New Year?s Day and... they handled our party of 8 very well. I ordered the unicorn wings (10/$14) with blue cheese. I?m not sure what they have inthem but they are amazing. My partner got the portobello pizza ($18) and that was great as well. We ordered a few bottles ofbubbles to celebrate the new year so we were happy. We would definitely return to Firepit pizza. Read more
Enjoyed our visit at lunch today, menu options were great along with the choice of chef's daily specials. Though the restaurant... was busy, Firepit Pizza Tavern had a good number of servers and active MOD on the floor (they provided excellent service, thankyou). We tried the Crispy Brussel Sprouts (delicious), Wedge Salad and Soup, and the Firepit Dip Sandwich (bread soft, meat wastasty and seasoned perfect). Portion sizes were good on all dishes. We look forward to visiting again soon and definitely wantto try the Pizza & Wings. Highly recommend for a business lunch or just having some great Grant Park food, we're glad they're inthe neighborhood. Read more
