- I requested orange shrimp, which isn?t on the menu but the cashier was happy to do it for me for the same price as the orange... chicken. -It was tasty though, too hot too eat at first, had a bit too much sauce in the bowl as if my orange shrimp was sittingin a soup getting soggy. -The broccoli was cold, and not even cooked or heated up. -The rice was okay but needed some sauce forflavor. TRASH - First time visiting the battery I ordered Mongolian Beef but should be renamed on the menu as Mongolian Sugar. This... stuff was absolutely disgusting the few pieces of meat that were in my order was flavorless, tough and very chewy then drownedin some type of sauce which was nothing but sugar. Yuck! I don?t even believe that it was beef at all. The rice was extrasticky and pretty sure it was mixed together with some that was old because some of the grains were crunchy when it tasted it.This place is overpriced and they under deliver anything that resembles quality food. 18 dollars for Mongolian sugar definitelynot worth the money. I spent $34 here to purchase fried rice, crab Rangoon, spring rolls, and teriyaki chicken. I could smell a pungent smell while... we were waiting In line for bubble tea next to fan-tasia. I Had to leave the line to get away from the smell and took a seat atthe community table closest to fan-tasia. The lady behind the register was kind enough to bring a tray with my order directlyout to me. I could smell the smell again. Well, the rice arrived it was the culprit. It smells like nasty, sweaty, sour gymsocks. I tried to eat the teriyaki chicken, but it was hard, stringy, and rubbery. I spit it out. As I was experiencing the?meal? my boyfriend, who was facing the register told me they had a sign next to their POS that read ?no refunds, returns, orexchanges.? That settled it for me. I ordered a broccoli beef plate. There was broccoli, carrots & green peas. The beef? Nowhere to be found. I asked the cashier if... we could do something about it and the response was a bad attitude and to pay extra if i wanted more beef. It?s crazy for a $16plate to not have the main ingredient. I made a decision to eat here as I was out and about in the Battery. I didn?t read the reviews first. Disgusting is an... understatement. First bite was into COLD, like freezer cold broccoli. They didn?t bother to even warm it up. The inside of theegg rolls were mushy and the general tso chicken was super crunchy and flooded in sauce. The rice was edible but lacked flavor.Not worth $20, not worth any dollars!!! This food is in no way cooked fresh or even same day. Read more
I'm always looking for new places to eat Chinese wings, so I decided to try this spot that I found after searching "crispiest... Chinese wings Atlanta." It did not disappoint! They are a honey glaze that is a little bit spicy, and sooo crispy! I wasn'tplanning on getting anything else, but when I saw the menu I had to! I got a hot and sour soup, which was both hot and spicy,great dark brown thick broth with tofu and big chunks of egg and water chestnuts. I also got the salt and pepper tofu. It wasAMAZING. I am a fan of the style and have had it all over town and this is probably my 2nd favorite after SoBa now! Truly a hardtitle to earn!
