Dat Fire is a small place where you put in your order, but they have a seating area upstairs. I put in an order to-go so I... didn't take a look at the seating area. They have a tiny parking lot. Ok so i was very optimistic about this restaurant after reading online reviews and decided to give it a try. Well let me tell... you, i was very disappointed, ik curry goat has bones but , i couldn't take a bite of my food without a FEW bones. A littlebit of cabbage, small portion of meat and lots of rice and bones! Honestly I couldn't even taste no curry flavor like I'm usedto, and i ordered the large for $20.00. What a waste of money. I should have listened to the comments that said the oxtails were trash, you guys charge way to much for flavorless oxtails, and... full of fat, they literally taste like they were boiled in water and browning was added!! There?s a reason there are no refundson oxtails only but good thing i paid with my credit card i got that back and went to McDonald?s and gave my tray to thehomeless hopefully they?ll enjoy it You mind as well save money and cook at home I didn?t mind the price for quality food butthis was way below quality I?ve had better food in Clayton county for half the price Read more
Went here for lunch today for the first time. The people were so nice. There was a long line but they kept it moving and... entertaining with old school dancehall playing. However.......I hate to say this but, the food was awful. I ordered a smallcurry chicken meal. The curry chicken was salty with a weird after taste. I don't know if the Rice and Peas was overcooked orundercooked because the rice was mushy but the beans were too hard and crunchy. The plantain was burnt and cabbage had no flavorto it. I am extremely disappointed and I really, really hope this was just an off day. A friend of mine recently reminded me of an "L" we took at this spot. It had the look/vibe and smell outside, so expectations... were pretty high. Now, Can someone please explain to me hooow this microwaved patty and "jerk" wings makes any sense? What partof Jamaica are these folks from exactly?
