I arrived at your store for lunch and Mary (I assume this was her name it was. That was printed on the receipt she was Not... wearing a name tag) she was working your front counter. She stood with her back to me sweeping for about 2 minutes and did notspeak nor acknowledge that I walked into the store, even though she was aware I was present She did not turn around. Untilother guest came from the bathroom. She ignored me and began addressing the guest from the restroom. I thought this was rude butI let it go only because. I was really in the mood for this fried okra so I let it go. I then ordered my food then steppedaside. She went from cleaning handling money to immediately grabbing food and putting it in bags. I was a little taken back bythis. I then ask her to please wash your hands before she handled my food. She looked at me after I had ordered my food androlled her eyes at me, she was acting offended that I asked and went back to sweeping. I stood there in shock as she washandling the other guest food. I then asked her again to wash her hands because she was just cleaning and handling the money ofthe previous customer. She refused refused, I was blown away. She then began to bag my food up and attempt to give it to me. Ithen promptly asked to get receive a refund. She got an immediate attitude. Then called someone from the back to carry out mytransaction. The other worker with no problems gave me my refund then told me it can take up to 48 hours. I then stated younglady you work with food you have to wash your hands in between tasks. You cannot clean and then immediately handle people'sfood. She then said in response, "You can Get Out, Leave". I exited the premise without exchanging words further. I left incomplete disbelief and hungry. This experience was completely disrespectful, disheartening and avoidable. This situation happenand I was not going to say a word. I just decide not to return to your store. Food is always good here. Service is slow but they are nice. Church's has lost their minds getting rid of the legendary wings.... I'm sure they will be back after all the business they are losing. Read more
Churches chicken, at least 45 years of goodness, today my wife took advantage of the Tuesday special and enjoyed it. In fairness... Churches with all the personel changes has stood the test of time. I truly miss the rolls but that Texas chicken still bringback old Ben Hill memories. Update, Today I found the drive thru speaker out of service. Along with under seasoned chicken. Ithought the breading came in a bag. Something did not happen correctly tonight. Due to our not wanting to work kids, tonight wasa miss. Most of the time the chicken is correct, sadly not tonight. I stopped by to get something to eat before going to work. Went thru drive thru and ordered a 8pc mixed meal and received all... dark. Drive thru speaker isn't working at all. You have to place your order at the window as well. Tried calling back quite afew times after I made my trip to Macon. Read more

It's been a while since I visited Church's because of the poor service and quality of food. I came today because of convenience... and was pleasantly surprised. The young lady at the window was very friendly, had a smile and verified my order for accuracy. Ibelieve the name is Tinsley or Kinsley. Food was hot and fresh. I only gave 4 stars because the drive thru speaker was notworking. Keep up the good service Church's!! Read more
