I never really like to give one star reviews, but I am really surprised. I just got to this restaurant and asked to be seated... outside. They said it was reserved, and so I was understanding because they are probably in high demand since it's a beautifulday. Then she told me to wait outside and I said sure. When I was waiting, the same woman sat a family with no reservation atthe open table outside immediately as I was walking to the waiting area within earshot. I have never had something like thathappen. When I asked the staff if they took reservations they said no, and I really can't believe that just happened. Do not go there for breakfast. Buffet was mediocre at best, no cream cheese (ran out of regular cc), 3 chunks of cheese offered,... very little pastries and bread (or had not refilled it). Had a special order of eggs, took 20 minutes to get it. We waited 15minutes for them to finally tell us there was no regular cream cheese to eat with the smoked salmon. Such a nice hotel but sucha bad restaurant offering. Servers tried their best. Recommend you go to Flying Biscuit Cafe and stay away from Casis. Read more
The best part of this experience was the hostess and the view. The food was similar to what you would find at a contenintal... breakfast at the holiday inn. The service was poor. We weren't introduced to our server, we were accused of sitting at somebodyelse's table by somebody else's waiter, and our breakfast was part of our reservation but our waiter assumed we were paying ourtab so he left the bill on the table without filling any of our drinks and was nowhere to be seen. After waiting my wife and Iwalk to the front and he meets us to say "are you ready?" I explain the situation and we were free to go. Like I said, friendlyhostess, good view. That's it. Read more
Very poor service during breakfast. The waiter was nowhere to be seen during most of the meal. Spent an hour with business... associates and we got one refill of coffee, which was lukewarm at that. As soon as the bill was paid, it was obvious that thewaiter had no interest in attending to us, refilling coffee, etc. The $22 buffet was mediocre, typical institutional hotel foodwith no one attending it.
