I have been here a couple of times and each time the food was so good! The service was pretty good also. Because it is... downtown, the parking is interesting. You can park in a nearby parking garage or on the street. The parking garage has selfpark or valet, depending on the time of day, and is not owned by the restaurant. One dish that was surprisingly amazing, was thespaghetti and fried fish. I know, and yes, I'm sure. Try it. All other entrees and apps were good as well. Read more

Wait what?! Yeah that what I said when I saw my delicious meal meander through the crowded room. This place has amazing decor... and ambiance. I enjoy the classic look and feel of the environment but most of all is the scrumptious option Barney?s has tooffer. French toast, omelette, potatoes and soul rolls! ????????? I?m definitely coming back to try the other half of menu.Don?t forget to say hi if you see me and granny stuffing our faces ???? Read more

Arguably some of the best tasting food I?ve had in Atlanta. My friends and I ordered the catfish and spicy spaghetti, shrimp and... grits, and the chicken and waffles. We could not decide which was the star of the show, but perhaps the catfish! The chicken wasseasoned to perfection and fried to perfection, so good. The grits were creamy and every bite was savory. I wish I had photos ofthe food before we started eating but we dove right in. The wait time does suck, don?t come here if you are ?starving?. I onlydidn?t give it a 5 star because I did feel like the service took incredibly long and we could tell our drinks were sitting atthe bar for some time as they didn?t arrive chilled. However out waiter was really awesome. I hope to visit again, stronglyrecommend the catfish!! Read more

Worth the wait! Initially given a 2 hour wait time, waited a little over an hour. The food was delightful and made it worth the... wait. I'm hooked on the Peach Basil Ice Tea. Very refreshing with the perfect amount of sweetness. Our waiter, Arnold (I thinkthat's his name), was awesome! Very knowledgeable of the menu! And the fact that he's a foodie made it even better because hedescribed the taste and experience of each item to a tee. The only flaw I found was the french toast was salty or you couldtaste salt. It could just be my personal preference that if it's meant to be sweet, you shouldn't use salt Periodt!!! Greatatmosphere, nice vibe. I loved the entrance! Perfect picture spot! Definitely returning!!! Read more

Went Saturday morning for breakfast before 8AM and by the time we left the place around 9AM the place was packed with people... waiting outside. The food, drinks, staff, and atmosphere were all great. We had soul rolls, salmon croquettes & eggs, and yardbird (chicken & waffles) which all seemed to be popular options at the restaurant. What I thought was really neat were thedrink options. The non-alcoholic cocktails in the front and center of the menu, and my wife ordered the grape aventus (picturedwith pomegranate on top) which she really enjoyed. I had the peach basil iced tea which had a texture that I wasn't expectingbut was great nevertheless. Read more

Didn't give this 5 stars due to the price paid for the food we received. Everything else was great, service, food, and... location. Our waitress was professional and responsive and gave great suggestions from the menu. All the food we had was good, especially the Soul Rolls. The mixture of yams, Mac n cheese, greens, and sauce work well together and the taste was notexpected. The location is convenient, but parking is a small nuance since you have to find one of the scarce street parkingspots or Valet in the parking garage for $5; which is reasonably priced. Read more

We heard about this place because it's a black owned brunch spot, so we decided to try it out. Arrived around 1:20 in the... afternoon on a Thursday and was seated immediately. We ordered they're fresh pressed juice, green apple, and it tasted just likebiting into an apple, which was very good as well as the pineapple mimosas. We ordered the Queen City Shrimp & Grits, minus thecherry tomatoes and the Yard Bird, both were delicious, the bourbon apple cider syrup was perfect match with pecan sage wafflesand the chicken was seasoned to perfection. Everything was great including the service. Will definitely be back and definitelyrecommend. But beware it gets really busy on the weekends and waits can be long for larger groups especially given the place isnot huge Read more

Some friends and I had reservations and were delighted with a wonderful meal and experience including the staff. I enjoyed the... Soul Rolls and BBQ salmon with grits. It was very good!!! I hadn?t one complaint about the food! I sampled a friends salmoncroquettes - another winner on the menu! I was pleasantly surprised by the moisture in the 12 layer red velvet cake. It wasdelicious! I absolutely recommend the restaurant. Thank you to Diamond for providing us with great service! Read more
