I ordered to go and loved the sushi ????. Very fresh taste. However, no one ever answers the phone ???? so it's impossible to... call in an order. This place is usually packed so I always have to come in, order then wait, this is my only complaint. Read more

Used to rave about this place to everyone but it seems to have gone a bit downhill. Maybe I caught her on a bad day (a few... times) but the one employee with the shorter blond hair (I think her name was Amelia) has the absolutely worst attitude. Otheremployees there are pretty awesome but man her negative attitude and slow service definitely turned me away for a while. Read more

Really cool neighborhood spot, think a much cooler cheers. Customers were ebjoying themselves, staff was really friendly and... made us feel at home. Had calamari and crab Rangoon for appetizers, both were really good. The Aloha roll turned out to be myfavorite, really fresh and flavorful. The painkiller cocktail was like a coconut spritzer, light and refreshing. The bill wasthe best part, ate great for under $100. Will make it a date night staple for sure. Read more

Honest review: We had the sushi, calamari, wantons, beef burger, big tuna burger. The star was definitely the tuna burger. Our... waitress was amazing, plus super cool. It?s a great little local joint. Restaurant could use a little maintenance, but I lovehole in the wall restaurant!!! Big question, would I come back??????? Yes!! Check it out, it?s not perfect but it?s a goodie. Ifyou like honest reviews please hit the like and or follow button. Have a great day!!! Read more

I wish I had taken a picture because what I took home was plain awful. I have been coming to this restaurant since 2013, just... for their Sushi. But today what I had was overcooked mushy rice and what tasted like old fish. My order only came to $14 but Ipaid $20 and didn't ask for change, because I believe in tipping bartenders and waitresses, especially since the last two yearshave been a total wash for restaurants. I sincerely hate to give them a 1 rating but this place has changed dramatically. TheSushi has taken a nosedive and I'm sorry I can't drive all the way from Conyers for garbage. Read more

Oh my goodness! Best sushi place I've ever come across, and I'm from Florida. Sushi near me will never taste the same. Mike was... the best part of our Atlanta experience. He was the most laid back, charismatic, fun dude and we had the absolute pleasure ofhaving him as a server. We will be back JUST for him. High quality, no wait, it was amazing. Read more

I'm sorry to rain on the owner's parade here, especially with so many raving reviews. I really wanted to like the place. It was... even more disappointing since I brought an out of town friend whom I talked into going for some really great and creative sushi,as they were tagged everywhere. Well, to say it was disappointment is an understatement. Ok, granted that I'm a little biasedhere given the fact that I've ran quite a few restaurants before and know how the sushi rice ought to be cooked and what freshsalmon looks and feels like. Still, I can say for sure that the night we ordered everything must've gone wrong at BottleRocket's kitchen. First of all, the rice was way overcooked, it was all mushy and resembled rice porridge more than anythingfrom Japanese cuisine. Now, one can argue about the creativity and aesthetics, and yes, restaurant food should always lookawesome and not just be tasty. But when you have so much sauce, crunches, and batter (OMG there was so much batter in thesefried rolls!! It was like eating corn dog)... I mean, it was sweet, tasty, a calorie-bomb, but c'mon, what does it have to dowith a sushi roll? You cannot taste seafood inside at all! You we could taste was sweet batter, fried oil, sauce and somecrunches. And now for the biggest disappointment. All those "creative" takes on sushi and totally overcooked rice we couldoverlook, if not for the last roll. So the salmon used in it wasn't fresh for sure. I'm not saying it was spoiled ? it must'vebeen refrozen several times because it felt like fish that died several times already.. and had no taste whatsoever. But howsurprised we were to find thick pieces of cartilage (yes, bones, some fat, connecting tissue that's impossible to chew) in thefirst piece... then the second.. then the third!!! Ok, that's when we stopped. The rest went to the trash. I sincerely hopethat our order had fulfilled the quota for the night and everyone else got their rolls without complaints, although that' Read more
