I'm always looking for something different. The decision to try Indian cuisine was a wise choice. I had a lamb burger which... was very tasty, the seasoning was awesome and the soft bun made a very delicious combination. I think even someone that saysthey don't like lamb would love this. This is another place that I am able to recommend to my travel business clients. Read more

Changing 5 stars to 2 stars. Edit: I love this place but yesterday when I went and ordered their special corn chat. I mean no... salt, the corn was dried, no chutney. It was a Thai salad. I don't understand no Indian would be serving this and if anyone whowould know Indian flavor would appreciate it. The Irani chai quality has been drastically degraded. I still love and will visitagain. Hopefully it was just yesterday experience and nothing permanent. Read more

This cute little restaurant is located inside Ponce City Market and totally worth a stop. There was a line when I visited, but... it moved very quickly. They have seating inside, but there's also plenty of seating in the market. I really liked their conceptand decor. They had a variety of options on their menu and I chose the tri-tip wrap, gulab jamun, and nimbu pani. The nimbu paniwas so refreshing on that hot and humid day. My wrap was flavorful and hot and I ate the whole thing in one sitting. The gulabjamun I was scared was going to be of the canned variety, but I was pleased to find it was likely made from scratch - not toosweet and heavy on the cardamom. Doesn't beat my own made from scratch ones, but it was good nonetheless. Overall, had a greatexperience and wish they had one in the DC area! Read more

I?ve not had much exposure to Indian food, but that is going to change. This place changed me. lol We got the chicken tikka... roll, the lamb kebab roll, and the tamarind glazed spare ribs. First of all, the naan. I will probably have to start making itfrom scratch because the stuff you buy in the store doesn?t even come close to what it could or should be. Next, the meats. Thechicken tikka was out of this world. The chicken was moist and perfectly seasoned. The lamb was cooked perfectly and so tender. It was a little on the spicy side for me, but still delicious. The slaw. The slaw was something I couldn?t stop eating. I usedthe naan to eat the slaw and it was the perfect bite. The raita was really good. It?s not usually my thing, but it had reallygood flavor and helped cut the heat of the lamb just enough to balance all the incredible flavors. Finally, we get to thetamarind glazed spare ribs. When I grabbed the first rib, all I got was the bone. The meat stayed on the plate. It just fellright off. They were tender, they were juicy, they were perfectly seasoned and cooked, and they tasted better than any bbq ribI?ve ever had in my life. Check out the picture with my review to see just how clean those bones were. And I didn?t have to doanything to get them that way. I?m excited to attempt my own version. If you find yourself at Ponce City Market, make sure youstop in and give these guys a try. The staff was friendly, the service was fast, the prices are great, and the food was unlikeanything I?ve ever eaten, but in the best way. I can?t wait to come back to Atlanta and enjoy another meal at Botiwalla. Read more

Botiwalla is honestly my favorite spot at PCM. It?s a modern take on traditional Indian flavors and doesn?t feel overly sweet or... salty to cater to general palettes. The paneer wrap, chicken tikka wrap, and the masala smashed potatoes are delicious and gowell with all their sauces - mint, yogurt, and tamarind. It may not be the most authentic, but it?s fast, tasty, and totallyworth coming back to sample the whole menu. Read more
