I think the poke has changed quite a bit (likely as a result of the pandemic). This use to be a go-to, but got the tuna poke... recently and the tuna is seared, with some cooked pieces? not exactly what I was expecting. Read more
I was working in the area so we decided to stop by and try their food, I read some of good reviews online. The staff was... friendly and knowledgeable, so we order the Boruboru Chicken, Boruboru salmon and Shoyu Salmon. I love their poke. The greens are always fresh and they have a better assortment of add-ons than other poke places. Their... service is fast and the associates are always friendly. I highly recommend for a quick, delicious, healthy lunch! It is a tadpricey but not atypical for Emory area. Parking is slightly annoying because you have to use a parking deck but just rememberyour ticket and they will validate up to 2 hours. . Read more
*Update: Seems like the portion size for Caveman got smaller? I looked at a picture I took before and it was overflowing. The... one I had most recently barely reached the top of the bowl. I do like this place, but just a bit concerned about theconsistency. Hope this helps. Caveman is my new favorite. It's like a flavor and texture explosion in your mouth.
