Went on a Saturday to Bold Monk Brewery with a large group of friends and they can accommodate large parties upstairs. You order... at the bar and they bring you out your food. As far as the decorations, they are really outstanding. The doors are all custommade as if they were from a church. The arch ceiling upstairs is really well done. For the food, the fries are nice and crispy.The Brussels and eggs are a great dish. The potatoes that came with my ham and eggs sandwich were perfect. Kind of packed at loud when we got there, the back seating area wasn't open so we sat outside of the front door. They had giant... fans out there which was cool. Pretty neat place, we only got beers, not food. My brother who does not care for IPA's got theirdouble and liked it. I also liked it a lot. Bartender was nice. Would recommend to a friend. Read more

We always enjoy dining here and leisurely trying different beers. This time we met friends for lunch and it was a beautiful day... to enjoy the patio. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. I had the lamb burger, fries, and Caesar salad,along with a flight of beer. Stopped in because I saw the sign off the street, this place was quite a charming surprise! The space is very large and... industrial, really interesting decor open spaces, creative use of spaces such as having a library upstairs that’s also arestaurant. They also have a wonderful patio outdoor space that I highly recommend it’s wonderful for large groups aswell! The Food ?????????? We had the Monk burger and the fried chicken sandwich with the brussels sprouts and their amazingfrench fries. Everything was excellent! Upon entering theplace we were greeted with proper signage where the door was to enter the facility. This place is so inviting!!! Every square inch has a purpose and no matter what you are there for there’s a spot adequate for... it. You can work or just chill out on your own. But there is also plenty of areas for a bigger crowd. The beer garden is sonice. The pictures I took were in the evening. The fact that it’s an actual working brewing makes it more impressive. We held our son and daughter-in-law's Rehearsal Dinner upstairs in the Abbey and expanded into the outside Beer Garden for the... Welcome Party where we had a local band play. Luckily the weather was spectacular in early March and the event was a hugesuccess! The Event Manager and her staff took care of every detail we requested, the chef provided excellent appetizers andentrees of steak and chicken that received rave reviews from the guests. The bartenders kept the drinks flowing quickly and thewait staff served over 100 seated guests very efficiently. It was great fun with a casual vibe that was just the rightenvironment to relax with family and friends celebrating the special couple the night before their wedding day. Nice place, one of the owners even stopped by and said hi which was cool. One in our party got the lamb burger he said was good,... others got the 1850 they said was okay, I got the 1899 and I was disappointed with it, the tomato sauce didn’t have a goodflavor in my opinion and less of it while cooking the pizza a little longer would have helped the slices not be as floppy asthey were, even folding it didn’t help much, it was two hand pizza or knife and fork. Not necessarily and bad thing, but thisone didn’t have the flavor that matches up with me when it comes to this style of pizza. Everyone at the table thought thedrinks were quite good including myself. There’s other things on the menu I’d like to try when I visit next time. Read more
