When I first entered the establishment, I noticed that it had nice decor and it was clean. You also have to seat yourself in a... waitress will come and take your order, so that's nice. However, the music that they play is extremely loud and the place offershookah. It doesn't sound that bad until you're sitting waiting for your food and the air is white with hookah smoke becauseeveryone is smoking. It also doesn't help that the restaurant shares a wall with a smoke shop too. This isn't a family-friendlyrestaurant, I would call it an adult only restaurant. This is one of the worst experiences I've had at a restaurant. I ordered 3 surf and turf tacos. They come with shrimp and... brisket. Mine had nothing but shrimp on it. When I called to speak with the manager I was told I'd be contacted in the morningwhen he looks into the situation. Of course I never got a call back and called back myself. The manager never came to the phone.Don't come here unless u want to waste your money. Its not worth it. I dont know who would even make this and think it wasacceptable. Never again. Where shall I begin: 1st the atmosphere was on point. 2nd..the food was average. I did like their wings and egg rolls. I didn't... care for 2 hours limit for dining but I get it. It's a small place. Simone was an excellent waitress. ???? Everyone says it'sthe place to go to off Camp Creek. Maybe, it was an off night(need better drinks and food)so I will go back. Read more
Best vegetable tacos I've had so far! They we're hot and delicious. The only bad thing about my experience was the rice and... beans, that came with my tacos, were cold. Some of the rice was hard, probably dried out because most of the rice was cookedwell. I also ordered Churros, which were served hot and tasted good. The Churros were lightly crispy on the outside and soft inthe center. With 6 sticks, there's enough to share as well. This should be a 4.5 star review with the rice and beans being theonly negative. With vegetarians, the rice and beans are the main protein source for this dish, since they're not eatingmeat. My server was great. Nearly 30 seconds after I finished my last bite, he was taking my plate away. The only thing I hadto ask for outside of ordering my food was napkins. I came in for dinner after leaving the Atlanta airport. I enjoyed the musicand night life scene as we passed the dinner hour. There are a number of big TVs at the bar, so watching the game or fight hereis easy. If you like Huka, you can have one brought to your table as well. We stumbled upon this restaurant and throughly enjoyed. The atmosphere is very Dope, it's black owned and the food was seasoned... well. They offer creative drink specials, Hookah, and great music. Read more
Pleasant surprise! My partner and I were looking for a low-key dining spot on Valentine's Day; both refusing to cook after... working. We thought, surely no one is doing a small Mexican spot on that night. We arrived and the setting was unlike anything Iimagined. Very nice ambiance and dj was amazing. A few ladies from my family and I got together for a concert and needed to find something to eat late. It was the weekend of... Halloween and there were a lot of other places to go near their location so it was bisylun6and parking was tight and sparse. Weassumed it was just a restaurant but I suppose because of the weekend or the hour we were in for loud music from a dj andhookah. But the music was great, a mix of old and new rnb and hip hop and staff was friendly. Now the chips and queso were sonicely seasoned and the guacamole was what I have been looking for for a long time. Finally didn't have to put salt on it. NowI'm from California where Mexican food is king so I know what to look for and my fajitas were so flavorful! The tortillas tastedhomemade, nice chewy texture, the steak and shrimp perfectly savory, juicy, and tender. With rice and beans, pico, and cheese,perfect. My cousin had the sampler platter with wings, southwest egg rolls, and chicken empanadas and loved her food as well.The wings weren't tiny either. The pitcher of jolly rancher margarita was balanced, not too sweet or bitter. Went so well withthe food. Everything we ordered came out really fast and hot. Great top off to our night!
