I recommend this place for a special dinner. This is a chef tasting menu so don?t expect to get full since portions are super... small. Drinks were good but expensive, the bread service with the butter was delicious. I?m giving it 4 starts because only afew things on the menu caught my eye. So i felt like i was out of options. Overall the service was good. Read more

Everything about this restaurant is exquisite! Customer service is top notch. The dinner menu is creative and that you get to... choose a dish for each course out of six when we went. All the choices looked fantastic so it was really hard to choose whichone we wanted to try for that night. We started with the Fruit De Mer, which is the seafood platter. First course was theseared foie grais & the vegetable tart 2nd course I got the Turbot My bf got the pasture raised lamb I highly recommendanything that you choose will be delicious. I cannot wait to go back again. Read more

The food was excellent! Every course was delicious and cooked perfectly. The wine was kind of stressful because the restaurant... was loud and I couldn't really hear the Somm and I kept asking for by the glass wine and he kept pushing these expensive bottlesfor our table. Picking the wine for the next course kept interrupting my enjoyment of the current course. So next time I willreview the beverage journal before going so I don't have to be so stressed out. The wait staff was very helpful with questions.I also had a really tasty cocktail before the meal. Read more

WOW! Fantastic five star meal. I?m still dreaming about that lemon soufflé. Every item was delectable and full of depth and... flavor. It?s a very filling four course meal as they give you little treats in between course. The crab fritter and steaktartare were to delicious. The sauce in the crab fritter was divine. Lamb and duck were cooked to perfection. As a cheese lover- the cheese selection was on point. I got the board and it was fantastic. My husband got the Pierre Robert and that creation iswhat dreams are made of. Finally desert (part 1) / best soufflé I?ve ever had. I?d skip the banana pudding - wasn?t elevatedlike the other dishes were. They finish the meal with a few small cookies that are nothing to scoff at - were also absolutelyfantastic. Can?t wait to return next time we?re in Atlanta. Thank you for a fantastic meal! Read more

I have been really excited to come eat here since everyone raves about this place! My girlfriend and I decided to go for a... birthday celebration. The dining atmosphere was very nice and the staff were all superb. There was a four course prefix menuwith a good amount of options to choose from. With a couple drinks, you're looking to spend anywhere from about 150$-250$ perperson after everything. But I have to say, I was a bit disappointed overall with my experience. It's not to say that I didn'tenjoy the food, but everything considered I was not super impressed. For our first course, we decided to go with the SteakTartare and the Seared Foie Gras. The steak tartare was actually very good, I loved the savory and sweet combination of the meatand apple. The foie gras also had a really nice combination of sweet and savory with the apple and honey. The texture of thefoie gras was similar to pudding, softer than I expected it to be. For our second course, we went with the Raised Lamb and theDry Aged New York Strip. The steak was very good and it was paired with a potato puree and complemented the steak perfectly. Thelamb was also super flavorful. They both filled us up more than we expected. This course was both of our favorites, and tI wasalso considered getting the Lobster or Duck. For our third course, we went with the Red Cow Parmigiano and the Pierre Robert. The parmigiano was a date with a cheesy wafer. The sweet and cheesy combination was good but it wasn't a pairing that I wouldcare to try again. The pierre robert was had cream cheese and a honey. It also had a sweet and cheesy combination, the texturewas similar to the a cream cheese frosting. For our fourth course, we went with the Chocolate Toasted Mashmellow Gelato and theBanana Pudding. The gelato was great, it was basically smores ice cream and it was executed amazing. The flavor of the bananapudding itself was great as well, but the caramelized banana ruined this for me, it had a chewy textur Read more

Amazing experience. Great service and the food was perfect. A great way to spend some quality time with your SO, or a business... partner. Lots of uninterrupted time between courses for conversation. It is spendy, but highly recommend if it?s in your budget. Read more

Bacchanalia is The Godfather of Atlanta?s fine dining scene. Many of the chefs in and around town who have opened their own... restaurants have worked at Bachhanalia as part of their training. This place has been around for over two decades, for goodreason. I?ve been here about half a dozen times, and I?ve never been disappointed. It?s consistently one of the best meals inAtlanta, from start to finish. Before the first course, you can start with supplements like caviar, oysters, and other chilledseafood. Next, you pick one option for each of the four courses: appetizer, main, cheese, and dessert. The menu changes everyfew days, so you?ll never have the exact same experience twice. One thing I love is the order of the courses. At othertasting/prix-fixe menus, you?re often full by the main courses. Here, the main is second so you know you?ll enjoy the wholething. The crab fritter is a staple appetizer you can?t go wrong with. The meats for the main course are always cooked toperfection, my favorites are the duck, lamb loin, and strip steak. The cheeses are exquisite and all very different from oneanother, i highly recommend the Pierre Robert. Lastly, the desserts are always a decadent finish. If you?re drinking, Irecommend doing the wine pairings as they go very well with the food. Alternatively, speak to the wine guy and he?ll hook you upwith a bottle your table will love? and the prices aren?t exorbitant. Some reviews say that the service isn?t great, but I?venever experienced that. The staff are always kind, welcoming, and want you to have a great meal. I always ask forrecommendations and have never been disappointed. Mario is great! I will be coming back here for the foreseeable future, andrecommend it to anyone in Atlanta looking for a fantastic dining experience with friends or for a nice date. If you can?t get areservation, just call in and ask if there?s bar seating available. The last two times I?ve walked in with no reservation andsat at t Read more

Visited here twice in the past few months- the price went up a little bit. But overall, great food and service. The menu stayed... pretty much similar but some changes within how they put the courses and so I definitely see the chefs? effort on rethinking andimproving each dish. Love their oysters and cocktails selection! Cocktails are seasonal. And I would say even it?s a 4 coursesmeal, they make sure you have many other side/treats to feel satisfied. The dessert section is one of the thing that I haven?tfigured out yet: quite unique and different from other ordinary sweet taste. Read more
