Reviews for Aviva by Kameel Downtown in Atlanta, GA
My favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Atlanta! Came here during lunch time (super crowded, lines out the door) and they gave... out free soup while we were waiting in line (super delicious). Ordered their rosemary chicken and let me tell you, it's worthit!!! Everything I ate tasted so good! Highly recommend it! I will come back here every time I'm in Atlanta! Also, the ownercame out to greet everyone which was a nice gesture. Love this place! You won't regret it! Read more
Hands down some of the best Mediterranean food I've ever had! Don't be fooled by it being in a mall/food court, the people at... Aviva know how to make some seriously quality food. The workers were also super friendly despite the very busy convention crowdand helped me pick out from their various different options for a plate. I'd go out of my way to stop by here next time I'm inAtlanta. Read more
Really good food for a moderately expensive price. It?s a bit more pricy but what can ya do when you?re in downtown Atlanta? The... rosemary chicken is FANTASTIC, brilliantly roasted and juicy. The pasta and potatoes are above average for regular side dishes, wish I could?ve gotten more of the pasta tho, you can definitely see when they try to reduce the portions. The staff themselvesare nice and attentive. The location is super busy but that adds to the atmosphere. Overall I?d give this place a 8/10 since thepeople who eat in the restaurant are a bit pretentious. Read more
Just - wow!!! We had a board meeting in town and reached out the day before to see if they could accommodate an order for ~30... people, some of whom had food allergies. Every person I interacted with was incredibly helpful, and super-responsive. I sent aspreadsheet over with our orders and had one person who said she couldn?t typically eat from restaurants because of a sesameallergy. The restaurant contacted me personally and said they would prepare a special dish for her without that ingredient (it?stypically part of a sauce). We also had one who didn?t like broccoli, and they accommodated him as well. Each meal came in anindividual container with a label on it indicating who?d ordered it. The baklava was out of this world. The food got ravereviews from all of the board members. It was very filling for everyone. When we ordered, they told me that though they closedearlier, they still were not only willing, but able to deliver our food for dinner (after they?d closed). They were friendly, responsive, attentive, helpful - every step of the way, including the on-time delivery. I can?t recommend them highly enough. Read more

I went to a wedding up in Tennessee in October, and on the way I decided that I should stop by Atlanta for what has been in... their top restaurants for a long time now. You gotta find street or garage parking and then walk to an underground food courtunderneath a giant business building of some sort. This place has a following, and for good reason. A mega line was out thedoor, but they kept it moving like a conveyor belt. All while offering free samples of the lentil soup to everyone. All while aman in the kitchen was yelling at everyone welcome in and thanks for coming back to the people he recognized. There was a goodvibe. We got two platters, one chicken shawarma and one salmon. The chicken looked like it was gonna be dry and need sauce, itwasn't. It was juicy and spiced to the nines. So good. Very earthly with a little kick. The salmon, dear Lord, the salmon was onanother level. It was sauced with an almost-sweet chili sauce sauce, and it was tossed with many different types of peppers.Very, very good. Sides. Falafel, was lovely. Great falafel with a nice crisp. Creamed spinach, wow! I've never had such creamyspinach, I was astounded. Sweet potatoes, so sweet. So unctuous. I liked it. And finally the mmjadara. This was a lentil dishwith caramelized onions. This was the most unexpectedly delightful side I've had all year. I'm not kidding. If you're even anhour away from the ATL, stop here just to try this. Overall, yes, this place is worth the hype and the already five stars ithas. I don't even know why I'm reviewing it. It doesn't need my help. I'll give it a sixth star. There you go. Read more

I stumbled on this restaurant when visiting the hub at Peachtree center. The rosemary chicken caught my attention from the... poster and it did not disappoint. The food was fresh, very healthy, not overly salted, very light and fresh. This type of foodwill not leave you greasy and falling asleep the rest of the day. The pricing is very reasonable. The restaurant is clean andvery friendly. Read more
