I want to start by saying that I work at a similar wood fire pizzeria in Savannah, Ga, and I know good pizza when I taste it.... Every last bite was absolutely delicious. The ingredients were so unbelievably fresh, right down to the basil leaves on top ofthe pie. This is hands down one of the best traditional Italian pizzas you will ever taste. From one pizza chef to another:remarkable! 10/10 stars. Read more

A great local spot! Bustling ambiance with knowledgeable staff. The Capriccioso was delicious. The buratta was fresh. The garlic... cheese bread is worth trying. Any of the pizzas are excellent. The next time I go back I'm going for dessert. Folks reallytalked up the tiramisu. I recommend sitting at the bar if you're looking for promptness. Table service is consistent for themost part. When they are slammed, there might be a delay or a mix up. With that said sitting outside on the patio on a beautifulevening makes the time pass quickly. Read more

The pizza is almost minimalistic, and that's a good thing. They seem to focus on high quality ingredients. I'm fairly certain... they could serve a pizza here with no cheese and it would taste great, because the sauce and bread are so well done. But inthis case, the cheese and other toppings are really delicious also. Get anything you like here and it will be delicious. Irecommend the Fra Diavolo. Read more

Being a Friday night, the place was packed, and other than a couple of staff, there wasn?t a mask in sight. Thankfully, after a... 35 minute wait, we got a table outside. The service(mask-less) was great and the food arrived quickly. The flavor of thewood-fired pizzas and the generous toppings made it an excellent meal. The parking lot was full, but an adjacent constructionsite was an option. We?ll definitely order their pizzas again, though we might choose to pick up instead- for now. Read more

Just got pickup after seeing such great reviews - that obviously was a lie. We ordered Arancini & a margherita pizza, something... simple. We get some sort of red sauce pizza with two pieces of basil & and blotchy & burnt cheese (burnt as in charcoal). Thepizza was also ridiculously small! The slices were awfully cut too. Now the Arancini? The flavors were *decent* but way toooily (it's fried so expected but still way too excessive). There are plenty of places in ATL that are way better than here -save a trip, your money & your taste buds and go somewhere else. Read more

This review is for takeout only. We ordered online at 7:45 pm on a Saturday and it was ready in 20 minutes. Here?s what we... got: - Burrata ($12.50): Good, but probably not worth $12.50. - Eggplant Parmigiana ($16.50): Average, especially for the price.I?ve definitely had better in the Atlanta area. Came with a side salad which was literally lettuce and tomatoes. At least giveme some cucumbers, maybe even some onions. - Create a Pizza with mushrooms & pineapple ($12.50 + $2 for toppings): The sauce wassuper good and sweet. Again, not sure $14.50 for a 12-inch pizza is worth it. The Create a Pizza should come with at least 2toppings built-in. Expensive for not the best food. The pizza was good, but everything else was eh. Read more

This is our friends favorite pizza place so he invited us to try it. It was a bit of a hike as we live in Midtown but worth... it. We started with some appetizers and then we ordered the pizza and wine combo three times. The combo comes with one pizzaand a wine bottle for $40. Totally worth it. It was six of us and we drank all three bottles. The pizzas are sized that you canshare with someone or have one by yourself. You may not finish it but leftovers are always good. I would highly recommendtrying it out. Read more

Avellino's is a little off the beaten path but definitely worth plugging the address into your GPS and finding it. Service was... friendly and attentive with the food coming out very quickly. Excellent wood fired pizzas complimented with an exceptional beerselection. Read more
