Came in with no expectations and I was impressed with this resturant. The atmosphere and service were brilliant and just a nice... place to have dinner. I was here for a women's group meeting and believe me I understand how annoying that can be for a restaurant. So let me start by... saying each and every person involved with our group on the staffing at Alma Cocina was phenomenal, patient, helpful andprofessional. They helped us with technology set up, they patiently took drink orders as people arrived at different times andgave perfect recommendations for lunch. The food was all fantastic. I had the green gem salad with steak and although thepicture is a bit dark it was so so delicious. There were several people in our group who said they weren't hungry but orderedthe street tacos and let me tell you, none of us didn't finish our food so that tells you all you need to know. It is a verysophisticated atmosphere, it's a little dark in the meeting rooms but out in the main restaurant it's bright and vibrant, plustheir plant walls make for excellent backdrops for selfies or insta posts! 10/10 would go back Read more

Holy Mole!!! Y’all, when I tell you I had to restrain myself from licking the plate, it’s not an exaggeration. Get the... chicken mole. Get it and get it now. Extremely flavorful and actually authentic mole. The Mexican street corn is some of thebest I’ve ever had. The empanadas literally melted in my mouth. Every bite from start to finish was divine. I really enjoyed this place. Food was delicious. The ambiance and the service was perfect. Went on a Friday night with a... reservation( highly recommend to make one) Started off with spicy margaritas and some guacamole. Guacamole was very plain andhad no seasoning to it. Although their street tacos and esquites was the best. Ended with tres leches with a coconut flavor toit which was amazing. Definitely coming back. They do parking validation to the terminus garage. Love, love, love Alma Cocina! We went on a Saturday afternoon as we're on the lookout these days for restaurants with high... ceilings and not-so-tightly-packed tables due to COVID. Alma Cocina was perfect. SERVICE: EXCELLENT! Lane, our server, wasSUPERB. He was friendly and extremely helpful with the menu I have a very strict sodium restriction and Lane went above andbeyond to make sure my food was properly prepared. The hostess also came over to let me know that my special dietary needs havebeen noted under my account so I wouldn't have any issues at any Fifth Group Restaurant. FOOD: EXCELLENT! The chef createdspecial no salt dishes just for me! This included fried tortillas, guacamole, a salad with pomegranate and apple (with a specialdressing), chicken and fried plantains. AMBIENCE: GREAT! The decor is beautiful. I felt like I was at an exclusive resort inPuerto Vallarta!
