Just came in a couple times during my stay for drinks and dessert. I love the look and feel of the place. There were repeated... times when we waited far too long for service at the bar, especially for times when there were only 4 or 5 people to serve. Iwatched the bartender carrying on tasks that should be taken care of by someone else instead of assisting patrons. I ordered thechocolate mousse cigar. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. The service was excellent and what you would expect from a Ritz-Carlton connected... establishment. I really enjoyed the iced tea bar. My rainbow trout was a little dry and the veggies were a little over relianton oil, but solid. I would not suggest coming here after sundown. The neighborhood can get really sketchy. Read more

This review is based on the price, keep that in mind. Long story short, both my date and I got sick from the octopus appetizer.... My seared scallops had sand in every bite. Her filet mignon was on point. I allotted them two stars because our server was veryprofessional, and because the taste of the food was great. But its not worthy of the lofty price. I expected more. I went to AG Steakhouse for the first time last night for my bestie's birthday, and OMG!!! the customer service from valet, to... front desk, to the restaurant was 5 star all the way. The food was delicious and even though the appetizer portions seemed smallit fills you up to where you just want to take home the entree. We got two complimentary desserts that were short ofdeeeeeelucious. I will definitely be back. My Bangladesi and Bulgarian waiters were so sweet and funny. Had a great experience here after walking out of three other downtown restaurants for Sunday lunch. Most places now are packed... and understaffed. Fortunately for us, AG was able to accommodate us. They were great with my dietary restrictions also. Oursteaks were cooked perfectly and our waiter was super! My only complaint was that other servers were clearing and resettingtables extremely loudly (clanking plates and glasses as if on purpose) and there were noisy kids near by. Read more

Elegance at its best. It was a simple date night with my hubby but the atmosphere and service made it such a memorable... experience. We were served by I think 5 different people but Van Gil was our primary server. We had a bottle of Cab. Sauvignon,salads, scallop, house special steak, desserts and coffee. Our main entrees were shared and it actually made the moment moreromantic. We would recommend the peach dessert for finale. By the way, valet parking is free as long as your server validatesyour ticket before you leave the restaurant. I was looking for something good to eat for my birthday walking around downtown and came by here. I asked the manager Gideon... about it and he suggested and said it was very nice. He showed me the way upstairs, my waiters name was Shawn. He was alsoawesome. This steak...one of the greatest things I've ever had. Mash and asparagus on the side, I had to get my dessert to go.It was also fantastic. Cheesecake with Grand Marnier cream. I was able to sit at the bar to have a cocktail and dinner as I was wearing jeans and a tee. It's a very classy joint. The... Bartender was extremely professional and made sure I was well taken care of. I had the Mule for a cocktail. This tasty drinkpaired well with the House Salad. Dessert was my main focus for coming here. The Peach Cake was to DIE for. The cake is morecustardy than flakey. The food was excellent and the service was all class. Read more
