Additional Information
5 stars for the fact that this place is stunningly beautiful inside and out. 3 stars for the staff. Both a lack of staff and... rude staff were problems I experienced here. The only exception would be the bartenders/waitresses at the bar by the pro shopwho were pleasant and attentive. 4 stars for the course. Only got to play the front 9 of the main course and none of the par 3as I was here for a wedding and had limited time, the course was very nicely groomed and well taken care of, but played veryshort even from the farthest tee position, and there was a notable lack of signage for first time players, a couple times oncourse I found myself searching for a sign to lead me to the next hole, and when I had finished rhe front 9 and was ready tohead back to the clubhouse, there was no sign at all pointing me in the right direction, luckily I could see the entry road tothe resort so I ended up just driving the cart down the road and through the parking lot to get back to the clubhouse. Overallit was a pleasant experience and the beauty of the location makes up for a lot of its downfalls. I will likely be planning a daythere next summer to play some golf and get some drinks. We've dinner here numerous times for both lunch and dinner, and the food has always been delicious and well portioned. Can't... beat the wait staff. And finally don't miss their brunch buffet, amazing! Read more
Went here as part of a wedding party. Outdoor ceremony location is ok, awkward setup and then bartenders are RUDE and surly. I... wouldn't recommend a wedding solely because of the bartenders. They make you feel uncomfortable ordering a drink! Read more
I covered a wedding at this menu. It was very beautiful, a very picturesque setting with lush green golf courses as well as a... beautiful flower garden with many water features. I would highly recommend this resort for your wedding reception. Read more

The Atkinson CC overall was a great place to get married. Beautiful scenery, great food, and my day of coordinator Kayla was... AMAZING, big shout out to her. However, with the Pros there are certainly cons.... The director of sales and marketing, Jen, isnot the easiest to work with. My husband and I signed off with Atkinson a little over a year before our wedding. During thattime Jen did not answer her phone ONCE. And almost every time I emailed her I would get an out of office reply. I understandthat places are "short staffed" and "over worked" but it is very frustrating that there was no one but her that could assistwith any questions I had. Lastly, their billing is very odd and super confusing - and of course I never really had assistancewith sorting it out because Jen took days to get back to me and always made it known how busy she was. Going back to my day ofcoordinator Kayla, she made it all worth it. She was such a calming presence and made the whole day go by seamlessly. Knowingwhat I know now I probably would've tried to work with Kayla more directly if that was an option (and If it is not, it SHOULDBE.) I do reccommend the Atkinson CC , but be aware you may go through some frustration/headaches working through contracts. Read more
