As a long-time guest of Waffle House, I am very familiar with their food preparation expertise, and customer service. This... morning I visited the Athens, TN, store. The first word that entered my mind was wow. Hannah was the absolute best server that Ihave experienced at any Waffle House. She was exceptionally busy servering many guests, and yet made time to ensure that I hadeverything that I needed. She must be a mind-reader, because she seemed to know exactly what I needed. Only cause I can't do less. Service was horrid waitress took our order then came back to take it again. Waffle made me sick.... After 2 bites I couldn't eat anymore. When I asked to order a cheeseburger to take out she said I didn't take that order. Idon't know what drugs she was on but it was frustrating. I will go to a different one before going back Read more
Our waitress, Quenci, was training tonight but she did great! She waited on all the tables on her own and maintained a sweet and... friendly attitude. We did feel bad for her though, the manager didn?t seem to be very encouraging or helpful. Read more
Bathroom was clean but still disgusting to have to change your child on the floor due to them NOT having a baby changer. They... got my son's order right but not my father in law he asked for an omelet without jalapeno and to add mushroom with a side ofwhole wheat toast, grits and gravy. They forgot the grits and gravy and gave him white bread and then left omelet like normalwith the jalapeno and didn't add the mushrooms cook apologized and remade it. This was our first time here and we were NOT impressed at all!! Our waitress was wonderful but the food was pretty sorry! Not to... mention people in the cooking station fighting and one walked out! Ordered biscuit and gravy, long time came back and said no gravy available This was at 7 am...come on Waffle House!!! Second... ordered a biscuit and gravy got a Biscuit and sausage instead...WRONG... Coffee was Hot, guess they got that right!! Read more
