The only good thing was the wild fries. The Cuban had very little to no meat, no mustard, the gyros had dry hard lamb with no... beef. I guess the people that come here for the fries and beer. Read more

Best wings we have had in a very long time cook perfectly the sauce was great not fatty I couldn't have been happier I had been... craving wings and they did not disappoint Our Server was great very friendly and attentive even with them been very busy. Disappointed on this trip. There were tons of empty tables yet we still had a 25 minute wait to be seated. After we ordered... and waited another 25 minutes the kitchen forgot our appetizers so they were brought out after our main dishes, soggy and cold. They did remove the appetizers from the bill, but it was still too overpriced. Not up to their previous quality of service. Read more
Moved our son into OU today and wanted to treat the moving crew to a sit down lunch before we said our good byes. We have wanted... to try Shade for a couple of years now and went away very disappointed that we waited so long to eat there! The food wasAbsolutely Delicious and very Reasonably priced. We fed 8 adults and 2 children for $102.00. The serving sizes were extremelygenerous on everyone's plate. I got the WILD FRIES. I would go back just for them to try different sauces! Used to love this place. First we had the one in Canal Winchester and loved it. I was so happy to see it come to Athens. Our... last two visits have been so bad we will not be back. Service is horrible and food isn?t what it used to be. Took my son therefor lunch and the bar area was the only busy area, uckeyes we?re on TV. Tables were empty. Took 50 minutes to get a half platenacho and over an hour to get 20 boneless wings and a bowl of soup. We ordered BBQ wings and got Hopin?. Had them redo our orderand we got 15 wings with the 5 still waiting. Waitress was nice enough to take over 50% off the bill. Won?t be back. Read more
