Normally i?m happy with the quality of the food, one of my go-to fast food establishments. However, last night me and my family... of three each got a ?Wings N Thingz? meal. The wings had barely any sauce on them, and the worst part was the flavor of thefries and chicken tenders. Almost as if the oil they were fried on caught on fire, tasted like burnt marshmallows. I'll rate this place based on comparison to similar restaurants as well as the actual experience here. In general, Zaxby's has... pretty good food, but slower preparation and none of the dining room hospitality that some of the other places offer. Thechicken tenders are good but often very small. I will say that their grilled Cobb salad is one of the best salads from a fastfood restaurant. Recently, however, they seem to have changed the blue cheese recipe and the size of the dressing portion issmaller (or at least it seemed that way). The speed of the drive-thru has improved but it is still a little slower than theleader in this category! This particular location was clean and the service behind the counter was excellent. However, therewere no items available in the dining room except for lids and straws. I understand keeping sauces behind the counter perhaps,but there were no napkins available. I think the legacy covid behavior is still in place but perhaps to an extreme. There wasalso no ice in the left hand drink dispenser. But at least they had two! There was plenty of seating available and lots ofdifferent options in terms of booths, tables, and even long tables. That was nice. It's probably the best fast food option inthis area. Read more

Steven and his crew saved our birthday celebration. The Barnett Shoals location allowed me to place an order and pay for it.... They did not open to fill the order and would not answer their phone. This location is hit or miss and more often than not lately there's something wrong with my order. Your salad may be missing... several items including the chicken. Their customer service also leaves lots to be desired. Read more

So this is their version of a "buffalo chicken salad" now!! I ordered the salad but ask that the chicken is buffalo. The girl at... the window handed me 3 Tongue Torch Sauce packs and said that I could buffalo them myself because there's an upcharge. I pulledup. This is what was brought out to me.
