The ambience and everything in this restaurant is awesome! I have only been here once and the service was good. We sat at the... sushi bar and got complimentary appetizers and desserts which was nice. The only thing I did not like was I found 3 hairs in mysushi roll. They were not my own, as I pulled them out of the inside of the roll in 2 different places (gross I know). The rollwas taken off my bill, so they were accommodating about it. Still just grossed me out. There needs to be beard nets orsomething. Read more

Took my wife here for karaoke for her birthday. Good selection and she had a blast. Room reservation process was easy, just make... sure you reserve with plenty of time in advance because they're very popular. Our room server Frances was very attentive, keptthe drinks coming and was super nice and personable. The only thing I didn't care for was that I told them our party would bedining after we were done in the room to which they said they would take care of getting us a table. When we came out of thekaraoke room, no arrangements had been made and it would have taken another 40 minutes to get a table for our party. Just aminor oversight. Read more

Went here for dinner on a weekday evening and sat by the sushi bar. Wasn?t too busy but not totally empty either. They gave... complimentary appetizers of a small salad and a mushroom puff with tuna filling. Both were nice. We also ordered the edamameand a seaweed salad as appetizers. The edamame were cooked properly ? neither over nor undercooked. The seaweed salad was decenttoo. Got some salmon nigiri, tomago (egg omelette) nigiri, salmon small rolls, and the eel hand roll. Everything was good, butnothing was exceptional. Have had better versions of each of these dishes at other places. The quality of the raw fish wasacceptable, though nothing to rave about. The service was good too. In addition to the two appetizers mentioned earlier, theyalso comped a dessert of fried Oreos. At times the server failed to notice us when we were trying to catch her attention, butthat was fine. Overall, I?d say it?s a solid four star experience. Am likely to return sometime, but probably not in a greathurry. Read more

I love Japanese food. The meal consisted of a seaweed cucumber salad, sea bass soup, and a Blackberry sorbet for dessert. Each... dish was well done. The soup arrived in a teapot which kept it warm. I sat at the bar and watched the chefs work. Again, a nicerelaxed meal in a beautiful setting. Read more

Went on a Monday night to Shokitini. Be prepared to pay to park unless it?s a Sunday. There were a handful of other tables... occupied when we got there, but we never had to wait long for service. Appetizers came quickly and so did the main meal anddessert. We decided to sit at the sushi bar per recommendation from a friend. We were given a complimentary salad and friedmushroom puff with tuna appetizer. We ordered a sushi dinner for 2 for $49.95. We put in the special request box that we loveeel, but are open to trying new things. The meal came with an additional ginger salad and miso soup. It was such a neatexperience to sit in front of where the sushi chef was making our dinner. He checked in on us while we were eating, and we gotto rave to him about how delicious everything was. We ended up with a lovely assortment. Favorites were the bbq eel, conch, albacore, salmon, and yellowtail. Tuna and red snapper were alright. All of the fish tasted fresh, clean, and lovely. The conchhad a nice firm texture and the bbq eel is just simply delicious. Hubby especially loved the shrimp tempura roll and doublepunch roll. Dinner ended with complimentary fried Oreos. I highly recommend coming and sitting at the sushi bar. Fabulous foodand fantastic service. Absolutely delightful time. Read more
