I?ve always been intrigued by this place but I have a hard... time trying new things so I never tried it until yesterday after reading some google reviews... OMG. Everything that I got wasSO. GOOD. I can?t speak on the service of the restaurant cause I ordered it through Uber eats but hooooooly moly it was likeheaven and I?m not even tryna exaggerate. It was so good that I ordered it again today and it?s on the way LOL. I got steak,ribs, pinto beans, tostones (which is double fried plantains if u didn?t know, I had to google that) and the rice. My boyfriend and I recently went here to try out Dominican food, and we were really surprised on how yummy everything was! We... got the Bandeja Tradicional which was a great dish to try out all the side dishes. We also got the Dominican Pizza and Mofongowith smoked chicken as our main dishes, and they were super flavorful. We got 3 dishes (the Bandeja Tradicional was large). Food tasted great but they were a bit dry since most of them were... deep-fried. Our favorite is the crispy pork belly on the Bandeja. First time visitor and I was impressed. The local looks small from the outside but it has 2 stories, and has outside seating.... The food was delicious and the service amazing. This was our first visit to Punta Cana. The food is Dominican which was also a first for us and we had no idea what we were... ordering. It was FANTASTIC! The ingredients on the Sandwich Especial sounded a little strange but interesting and were actuallyDELICIOUS! The Smoked chicken entre was a safer option for a less adventurous diner and was equally good. Everything had afreshness about it and the flavors simply burst in your mouth. Honestly, I think we could have ordered anything on the menu andbeen more than pleased with the savory dishes. We finished our meal with the Guava Empanadas which were also delightful. Therestaurant has two entrances, one from the street side and one from a small parking area in the back. It has two levels forseating with well organized spaces. The staff was very courteous and attentive. This restaurant is being added to my favoritelocation list so I can remember to visit again when next in Athens. This place along with the people and the food is amazing. The people that complain about the portions need to understand that... this is NOT fast food. Portions could be a bit better but they are not outrageously low for the price. The portions and theprices are quite reasonable. The staff is also super friendly. Come and enjoy great Dominican food.
