Placed my order at 5:50. Was told it was a 45 minute wait, that?s totally okay. Driver arrives at 6:50 and only delivered a... salad and my potatoes. I ordered 2 steak tip entrees. He goes back to the store and the store calls and proceeds to tell me theyhaven?t even cooked my steak and that it won?t be delivered for ANOTHER 45 minutes. This location is one I literally grew up on, and throughout the years, their service has been excellent ! The food is always... tasty and cooked to perfection. The kitchen is always clean and the staff is always friendly ???? I highly recommend Steak Outin Athens, Al. Read more

The worst Steakout ever, while waiting on my food I'm standing there watching the cook as he is cooking, how I noticed how he... had the same gloves on when he put a piece of chicken on the grill, reached back in the cooler and grabs a piece of steak withthe same gloves how contaminating is that. I immediately cancelled my order and went elsewhere. The health department needs tobe contacted. There's no telling how often he is doing that. Read more

November 3rd approximately between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. my mother and I stopped and spent almost $43 on two large steak tip... dinners. First of all there was only one woman in the store . There were five breast fillets on the Grill. I asked the lady ifshe needed to flip them before she took our order. In the distance I hear an employee say no I've got it. The gentleman walks upwith a pack of Newport cigarettes in his hand. Goes in the office comes out (I'm assuming to set his cigarettes down on thedesk). Doesn't even wash his hands. Puts on gloves and walked straight to the grill. We ordered them medium-rare. I specificallyasked for them to be cooked properly. Both orders were cooked well done. This is extremely disappointing for me personally. havelived in Central Florida ( they do not have steak out) for the last seven years I just moved back to Limestone County.Steak-Out was one of the highlights for me moving back!! Unremarkable in every way. Ordered steak tips MED rare and got burnt leather like tips. To add insult to injury they paired it... with day old BOILED potato! And as a bonus the delivery guy forgot my wife?s tea. Never could get anyone to answer phone to getthe tea. Thanks Steak Out. You lost two customers over this. Read more

Won?t be back. Asked for a grilled chicken salad. They must be premade salads?came with the tomatoes I asked to NOT have on it... (they claimed they couldn?t be removed). And the chicken looks grey to me (suspiciously so) and the lettuce is wilted. A coupleof cuke slices look like they?ve been frozen and thawed. Brown lettuce buried everywhere. UGH ... not again. If I buy a salad asmeal, the least they could do it make fresh to order. Read more
