Our family?s favorite pizza place for Sicilian pizza while my father was still in the area. As he became ill, he wasn?t eating... much but asked for a slice of Sicilian. It was the last solid food he was able to eat. We now take a ride down there for oldtimes. Dad was a customer from the time they opened and he always brought a pie to family gatherings. I have placed many orders via telephone from Gallery Pizza. Food has been satisfactory as well as the prices. Last week I placed... a large order (+$120) using their online ordering service. I wanted to pickup the food about 2 hours later, so having never usedthis method of ordering, I called ahead and asked when it was best to place this order. I was told I could place the orderimmediately, but add to the "special instructions" section about the timing of the pickup. So that is what I did. About 30minutes before my order was to be picked up, they called me and asked when I would be picking up my order. They failed, and whata waste of $120 + a tip (DUMB) that I put online, and a disappointment to my dining guests! If you are going to use thisservice, DON'T! Read more
I am a big fan of Phillies Cheesesteaks chopped and very picky. I was born in Philly raised in NJ left NJ at a young age and... lived in different states. There were several places in Philly to get an excellent cheese steak sadly NJ has been anexcruciating experience. Except for Gallery Pizza. I've eaten at so many restaurants pizza or not and no one comes close toPhilly except Gallery. Now my children and I are very picky eaters and we like our steaks prepared a certain way alot of theplaces we have went to fail to make the hoagie the way you request. Just finished eating my first meal at Gallery Pizza. My partner has been urging me to try it and today I finally did. We decided... on delivery with Doordash. I ordered the Vegetable Panini and modified it to make it Vegan. Thank you to whoever made my mealtoday!!???????? You followed ALL THE DIRECTIONS PERFECTLY (down to the side of oil and vinegar). I was impressed. The Frenchfries are some of the best I've had since moving to the area and remind my partner and I of one of our favorite spots back inBrooklyn. He has made me a new customer! He ordered the mozzarella sticks and tried the fried ravioli for the first time andloved it! All the food came HOT and fresh and took it even 25 minutes to come to the door! The young lady who answered thephone was very friendly and professional when we called to asked questions about the order. Wow!.. all I can say.. first time ordering from gallery pizza. BUT DEFINITELY WILL NOT BE MY LAST!.. it was absolutely... delicious, authentic, and worth every penny.. they DO NOT SKIMP on anything- ingredients, toppings or quality!! I am very picky about ordering pizza as I am Italian and grew up with Everything. BEING FRESH AND HOMEMADE, it's hard to find REALAUTHENTIC STYLE PIZZA.. this place def gets ???????? from me.. everyone has to try here if u get a chance u will not bedisappointed.. not only do they have fantastic pizza but the service was quick prompt and got delivered 25 min earlier thanexpected.. ..
